I am an old school DJ, think vinyl. I've been out of the game for a little bit and can think of no better way to re-immerse myself than with Pioneer equipment. I opted for the top of the line as it offers a window into the world of on-the-fly remixing previously only found in MIDI controllers. Coming from indestructible Technics 1200s, I wanted to make sure the build quality was up to my standards. Pioneer has not disappointed. The unit itself is sounded assembled and solid. All controls are smooth in operation and rigid in construction. While this mixer is built for the rigors of club life, it looks and feels comfortable in my living room too. To be honest I have yet to discover anything I do not like about the unit, which makes for a rather one sided review. Or it might just speak volumes about the product!
