It doesn?t have a clip to secure the arm, for when you move the turntable.

Pioneer PL-990

I guess it is o.k. but it has a strange feature. You can adjust the turning speed using a "stroboscope" on the player. Why would you need or want to do this? It should simply have 33 rpm, 45 rpm or perhaps 78rpm discreet settings which should be adjusted at the factory. Records play at these speeds and any other speed would result in the music being played too fast or too slow.
