By far Polk has made listening to all sorts of music and watching tv and bluray movies a whole different world and experience. These speakers paired up with RTi8 towers, just simply put, optimises sound clarity and detail. All I have to say is that, I now need a CSi A4 to complete my set up. I was in the market to upgrade my rear surrounds from a loaner pair of mb quarts. I have a pair of polk monitor series 2 70's running through a yamaha rxv 477 in a 13 x 18 listening room .As i exhausted all the reviews........ etc. keeping in mind i wanted the best rears to match my polks. I decided on the fxi a4's. After i ordered them i thought i should have chose the a6's. cause the driver size matched my monitors. When they arrived i was still skeptical but, as i hooked these bad boys up....

The Polk Audio FXi A6 Surround Speaker (Pair, Black) combines top-notch home theater performance with flexible placement options. This cleverly designed rear-channel speaker features two tweeters aimed 45-degree from each other, for an ideal mix of direct and indirect sound. A dipole/bipole switch lets you position the FXi A6s on the rear or side walls of your home theater room, you'll get great results either way. If you place them behind your listening position, set them to bipole mode for distinct, directional sound, or set them to dipole mode for side placement and they'll create a more diffuse soundfield for convincing wraparound effects. Polk carefully designed the drivers using laser testing to help identify and eliminate resonance points. The acoustically inert MDF cabinets fight internal vibrations that can compromise performance. It all adds up to enveloping surround sound that fully immerses you in the movie action.
