These sounded better than I expected. I am using them as side surrounds. I was worried about localization but these expanded my sound stage I believe.

I recently ordered and received these - and my only regret is that I didn't get TWO pair. They are solidly built and acoustically amazing. Perfect timbre match to my LSiM 705s and 706C. The bass is solid while the mids/highs are crisp and detailed. Without a doubt the best surround speakers I've ever owned and I can recommend them without hesitation.

Enjoying these surround speakers immensely. They finished off my system accompanying 705 fronts and a 704 center. The setup is in a smaller sized room but the 702s are hung on the wall and look awesome, very theater-like. Hanging was not a problem even without studs in the location I desired. I picked them up on a great sale and would most likely pull the trigger on another pair should they go on sale again. Adorama shipped quickly and they were double boxes. Arrived in perfect shape.

Adorama had this one listed for $345 and I caved in. They sound great for the price, and they are ridiculously big and heavy. At almost 30lbs each, good luck finding a stud or anchor to wall mount it. *** Mine arrived double boxed, while the outer box was in perfect condition, inner was ripped :( :( Luckily no damage to speakers. Been wanting to buy this pair for a while, and very glad to have them, but not yet installed. I am always impressed by Adoroma's care in shipping with an outside Adoroma box over the Polk factory box. It is so considerate to be sure the customer receives a factory box in as nice condition as possible for larger expensive items.

This is a fantastic value for a surround speaker. The best Polk has ever made. The only downside is the speakers are very heavy and I've had to take extra measures to make sure it stays up on the wall. It's worth it, though.

Yes I highly recommend ?? I'll tell you I owned Bose for over 10 years and I never heard the background sound like I do with these Polk Audio surround speakers. The Polk Audio surround speakers are Bad Ass. Don't think twice about purchasing them, they are worth every penny.

I bought these a month ago or less replacing my FXI-A four dipoles which done quite well for the money. So I decided to match my LSIM 707 towers along with my LSIM 706 was a great change for sure. These surrounds took it to so much of a high quality sound for sure. More money of course, but it is worth the price, My system is a matched unit now. Good job Polk well made speakers for sure. I am using Parasound along with a Marantz 8802-A preamp processer too.

This surround speaker is a Rockstar. Sounds great and fills up the rear surround perfectly. they are big but the sound makes up for it. Worth every penny!

This speaker is AWESOME!!! I've used two sets of bookshelf speakers for surround; Monitor 30 and 40, and have even used the Monitor 70 in surround. Nothing I've used compares to the F/XiA6. These speakers create a large sound field like on other. You want to be enveloped in the action? Get these. You have the option of mounting these on the wall, I have my right one wall mounted, my left one is on a stand. I actually prefer stands because I like space around the speakers. If you're looking for a superb surround speaker, the F/XiA6 is it.

I have owned these for almost 2 years now and with the new bluray movies these speakers really shine. They can handle any movie I have watched. I like the looks of them they really stand out and say home theater.

all i can say is wow. i had the cheap cube speakers before these. lol...i can hear everything now!! i never knew what real surround sound was until i bought these. i have this entire lineup of speaker minus the front 2.(saving money for them) Movies literally came to life. i had to watch all my good surround movies again to smile again and again. months now after christmas, and i still act like it was the first day i got them!

These speakers are wonderful. I installed them in place of built-in speakers that I felt were not performing well. I mounted them to the wall and was not excited about it as they are not hidden like the ones they are replacing. Okay, so how did they sound? Well, funny you should ask.... I was not 100% sold that this was the solution until I turned on my movie. OH MY GOD!!! I am so happy I could cry. Invisible to the ear not the eye. These things tossed sound around the room like champs. Rockets flew over my head moving my hair with the wind jets. The sound is detailed and clean. I might know where they are but I sure dont focus on them when the movie comes on. In fact I no longer see them. Funny how that is.

Ok, I finally have my system complete minus a Polk Audio Active Subwoofer. I just purchased the FXi A6 surround speakers in white and they really do make a significant different from regular Bookshelf speakers. Many people will not specifically upgrade to real surround speakers as they think just regular satellite or bookshelf speakers will do-for many this is fine, however if you want to experience the true sound fidelity sound that many current movie i.e. Blu-ray, then step up to these speakers. The movies subtle sounds come to life as they were meant to be heard when the audio producers laid down the tracks for specific sounds. The Polk Audio FXi A6 will take advantage of todays new sound technologies by enhancing each sound for example jet engine sounds, rain drops, the rustling sound of leaves being moved or stepped on. The Bipole and Dipole option is a great touch by Polk Audio. This physical knob allows you to tweak your sound output depending on your particular room side and configuration. By simply using the Bipole setting you can have 3D sound if speakers are behind you, typically ear level if standing up. Using the Dipole allow you the option to set them beside your listening zone diffusing the sound same height. Play with both options and hear what you prefer. I have 2 RTi 12 floorstanding monsters bi-amped for maximum bass output. I am using a different speaker for center front but with these FXi A6 surrounds the difference is clearly noticeable. Great speakers.

I have the Polk RTi 10 Fronts and the CSi A6 center and the F/Xi A6 surrounds and I cant hardly find movies to keep up with these speakers. And music is amazing most of all people like when they see them and love them when we watch movies.great speakers.
