Really enjoying the bass

Adds a nice bass to the Blueray sound tracks. This is the second PSW 108. 2 makes a hell of a difference. Sometimes the dogs think it is thunder. Yea man!

PSW108

Works perfectly with the L100 bookshelf set. I have a Rotel A12 and use the preamp out to control the subwoofer. I wish I could register it, but my login fails and the forgot password button doesn't do anything. Since my email is 'already used', I am effectively blocked from the Polk www.

So far, so good

So far, this subwoofer sounds great, nice deep bass. I have only had it a couple of weeks so can't comment on the long term lifespan.

Great features and great sound

Bought this a few years ago and agree with the other reviewer that it is nice to have traditional speaker wire inputs for use with older receivers. Well worth $250 for what you get.

Terrific value at a very good price.

Very easy to set up and use and it sounds great. The speaker level inputs and outputs are an excellent and much needed feature as my preamp is from 1960 and doesn't have a sub or center channel output.

Great sub!!!

I’ve had it for a month and it is a great addition to my Polk RT 1000p and 600i systems...

I chose the PSW108 to go with Polk R150 speakers and I am glad I did. The Subwoofer pushes out plenty of Bass and adjusts excellent with the R150 speakers!

I was assembling a 5.1 Pioneer home theater system and decided to go all Polk. My receiver pushes 100 watts per channel so I needed a sub that could handle the power. I did my research and chose the PSW108 over the PSW10.After hooking it up I was very impressed and tried it on my vintage Marantz system. It sounded so good, I ordered another one.

The Polk Audio PSW108 10" 50 W RMS Powered Subwoofer features a front firing port so you get the full bass impact focused directly at your seating area. It also features auto on/off circuitry, marked "auto" on the power switch that automatically turns your subwoofer on when it senses a program signal. When no signal is present, the circuit turns the subwoofer off after a few minutes. If you are concerned about the brief delay between when the music starts and when the subwoofer turns on, simply leave your subwoofer in the "on" position.
