About Polk Audio RC55i

The Polk Audio RC55i 5.5" Two-Way Rectangular In-Wall Loudspeaker (Pair) is paintable to match virtually any decor. The easy install cam locks make installation a four-step process, cut hole, run wire, install speaker, enjoy the music.

The full range speaker has a 67 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response so you don't even need to find a place to hide a subwoofer. The mid/woofer is a 5.25" mineral filled polymer cone and the tweeter is a 0.75" metalized soft dome tweeter. The tweeter is swivel mounted so you can precisely aim the sound.

The rectangular speaker uses durable, moisture resistant materials so it is safe to use in bathrooms, kitchens or under the eaves. It is tuned to use the in-wall space as a virtual enclosure for fantastic bass response.
