Very happy so far! Wonderfully full and rich sound. The tactile feel I get with these from kick drums is a noticeable improvement over the Pioneer Elite SP-EFS73s they're replacing. And the cabinet is gorgeous! Great speaker!

I can honestly say that I'm hearing things in recordings, I've had for more than forty years, that weren't reproduced in any other speaker I've owned. For the price, I have not found better.

I've been looking at these Polk LSiM 705's for years! After purchasing a few from Adorama (on a great deal) about 3 weeks ago - all I can say is that I'm extremely happy with them! Adorama shipped them very quickly, and although the outer box was slightly damaged, the Polk box was fine. Set up was easy - using a Denon 4400 receiver and Crown XLS amps (also purchased thru Adorama) - sound (imo) is outstanding...stunning even! I've experimented just using the Denon to power them, and as others have stated, they simply sound more full and vibrant with more power! I'd describe them as very nuanced speakers - lots of detail across the frequency range. I've listened to massive amounts of music - that I've heard for many years over many speaker systems = these are the most full and capable I've heard! They're also awesome with home theater material! Highly recommended - both the speakers and Adorama! These are some very good reviews online - but a few folks mention

I have personally experienced speakers that cost thousands of dollars more and can offer my opinion with complete confidence, these are the real deal friends. The quality of these LSIM speakers is "top shelf" in every aspect! I previously had the lsi15 series and was completely happy with them also. Very impressed, have used this speaker for stereo and home theater systems, suggestions: depending upon quality of source, the speaker may sound bloated if too close to walls and moving them away a bit will reduce bloat (depending upon room, and it is not as much of an issue if source player transmits tight bass), and suggest clean power (larger / dedicated amplifier / power supply) to bring out depth / full capability of the speaker, but they will sound good with good smaller sized amps / home theater receivers. I've just started to use mono price's 200 watt / channel separate amplifiers and they have made a significant improvement in the sound (n my various environments) versus using lesser capable amplifiers such as Yamaha RX-A3000 / 3070 receivers or Cambridge CXA integrated amp.
