I?ve had this about a year and man it?s amazing but 1 problem has occurred the sub will not in any case repair to the bar no matter what I do I have reset to factory I have tried to just repair with the buttons and nothing the sub just blinks green with no sound

After first buying the MagniFi Max we were very happy with the sound quality so we bought another one for our other tv. Soon after buying them we started having issues with both of them. It wasn't as bad at first but now several times a week they need to be unplugged and plugged back in to get them to work. Not only will they not come on when the TV is turned on but they won't even respond to the remote controls that came with them or by pressing the buttons on the actual sound bars. Usually the only way to get them working again is to unplug and plug back in. Occasionally if we wait long enough (a few minutes) the first one will eventually start working but most of the time it won't. There are also other issues with both of them; crackling in the rear speakers. I have seen a lot of other reviews with the same complaints. I've been trying to figure out if it's with certain apps or shows because sometimes they work fine while other times they don't. Sometimes the sound will stop on the second unit until you hit the volume up or down buttons. This will continue every few minutes until it is unplugged and plugged back in. These issues happen often enough that we completely regret the money we spent on them. It is unfortunate that the technology is so flawed because we really loved the sound quality but now we are just angry that we wasted so much money on them. We are considering putting a remote control switch for the outlets they are plugged into to more easily reset them when they are "stuck". If I would have realized what a headache these things would be I would have returned them right away. This experience has me completely opposed to ever buying another Polk product.

The sound quality from the speakers is fantastic but sadly they are riddled with technology and integration issues. The wireless speakers are buggy and don't stay connected. Original sound bar stopped working for no reason. Took 3 months to sort out a replacement. Replacement won't sync to rear surround speakers and Chromecast is broken. I've given up at this point. Polk makes great quality speakers but they are not a technology company and it really shows with this product.

I bought this system 2 years ago on special at Best Buy. It is the best TV sound bar I've had, and I've had several, including from LG, ZVOX, and Orb Audio. Dialogue always crystal clear. Bass is solid -- either thunderous or musical as needed. Sometimes I use it as a Bluetooth speaker for music, and it is fine for that, but I have other HiFi soeakers for that. But if I play Pandora or Radio Paradise through my Roku TV to these speakers, the musical reproduction is very good. Very happy with this system.

I bought this 3 months ago. Sounds great and works great with the TV but, if you plan to Bluetooth your phone to it, don't purchase this product. It goes into standby mode every 5-10 mins. I also linked it to my Google home and same result. I did all the trouble shooting like turning the volume up all the way on my phone and nothing resolved it. Customer service was rude. I wish I had just paid the extra for Bose

The set up couldn't be any easier. Basically plug it in and it's working!! The sound is AMAZING for a sound bar and it looks great! The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the LOUD sound/tone that the speaker makes every time it connects/disconnects via bluetooth. I've tried with mulitple phones and adjusting the volume prior to connecting/disconnecting via bluetooth, but no matter what I do, it's still loud. We had a group of about 12 adults talking in the next room, with music on quietly in the background, and when the phone disconnected from the sound bar it made everyone stop talking and look in the direction of the living room/sound bar to see what the noise was. Even in the kids rooms with the door closed the noise is still heard. Luckily it hasn't woken the baby yet. After talking with Polk customer service I was told this was a normal volume for the bluetooth connection tone, but it still seems very excessively loud to me. I have had several bluetooth speakers in the past so I expected a tone, but not this loud of one.
