Marketplace Deal
Got for a very good price ($25-50[?]) used off of marketplace.
It's a very solid and well built Lil device. Every aspect can be considered above abridge tbh. THE ONLY place where I think there could be improvement is better highs- whereas this system is more about the clear vocal. Bass is nice.

Great price on the refurbished model
At the $150 price point you can't beat this. Nothing really compares in this range. Sound is awesome.

Better then Bose
Very impressive base. Awesome sound almost as good sound as your most expensive sound bar.Better then my Bose 700 and 900 sound bars.

Power and google home issues
The system is nice but mine was not refurbished. The box was beat to hell and, after setting up my system through Google Home, I came to find that it is "owned" by the previous purchaser. I don't have full permissions to manage the system because the old account is still on it. Polk should have their own app, frankly, because Google Home sucks. I reached out to tech support asking them to remotely reset the device, but their response was a generic "call us." I don't have time for that nonsense.
Also, as many people online have noted, there is no way to shut this system off permanently, which is dumb. If your tv comes on, the soundbar comes on. I don't like this because I have the bar connected via optical input. My tv also has analog audio out, which I use to connect headphones for late night gaming. To use the headphones only, I had to go unplug the Polk each time to keep sound from coming out of both. I eventually solved this with a switched plug for the Polk but it's a bad feature.

A little disappointing but OK
I was expecting a deeper more articulated sound than the MagaMini has. Disappointed to learn no satellite wifi speakers available. Sound control with Samsung TV controller a little off. But I can hear spoken words better and it does have a good sound.

Great Sound and Clarity
This is so much better than the previous name brand soundbar I was using. I had been wondering if my hearing was going every time I watched a TV show and could hardly understand the words. Now I know I'm not. The clarity is truly amazing! Also great for music!

Refurb unit wasn?t properly tested.
The unit was nice and compact so it didn?t take up much room on my fireplace mantle. Overall sound was rich and room filling as I would expect but? it came with a blown subwoofer speaker. They received the revoked unit 3 days ago and I still haven?t heard back about when its replacement will ship out nor any follow up on the returned one.

Don't waste your money
I will never purchase another polk again after about 3 years subwoofer decided not to sync with soundbar anymore been reading online a lot of customers complaining about this issue crappy software update completely destroyed my soundbar having the ability to pair with my subwoofer and there isn't even an option to wire it as a backup what a complete waste of money

Glitches galore
Sound quality not what expected. Sound delays of 10-15 seconds with channel change. Sound went off when using any button on Polk remote. Overall, too many glitches.

Big Sound Little Footprint
I bought this for our cottage basement tv and as the sound system while we play darts. It was super easy to setup and the room filling sound and quality is surprising. It does not have a thumping bass like what you get with a really big subwoofer but it isn't out of balance either. I think it's biggest strength is how clear the audio, especially voices are during movies. I am super happy with this system overall and I think it was a really good value. Also the physical unit feels quality while you set it up, not cheap at all and I am pretty particular about that. Last thing it paired to my Iphone for apple music in about 5 seconds and I was done. Well done Polk!

Great small system
I bought this system for my Samsung tv in my bedroom and i'm very happy. ThIs changes the tv viewing experience for the much better.

I'm willing to update this review to a 5 star
I bought this unit and it worked for 5 minutes only. I have to say, I loved every moment of the 5 minutes and I was 100% satisfied with the purchase. However, after turning it off, I could not hear the sound any more. A quick Google search and found people with similar issues pointing to firmware updates and a lot of compatibility issues considering the fact that I have a modern TV. I'm currently looking for help and I will update this review when I get it. Until then, its a painful 1 star. Poor

Impressive!
I am thoroughly impressed with this little system, I've owned Bose acoustimass speakers and I am more impressed with this system than I was with those. As someone who loves to hear the details in music and movies this little unit is impressive for its size. I'm sure for someone with a larger room this is probably not what you're looking for, but for smaller rooms this is excellent.

Had high hopes but we absolutely were let down
We had a small setup on our tv and very little room for a standard sized sound-bar, so we looked high and low for alternative options and found this. I was very excited about all the claims and felt this was the PERFECT size for our smaller TV stand. The good news: it was easy to set up. The bad news? Unfortunately, this unit does not stand up to any of the claims and the audio sounds terrible. It sounds like it is coming out of a metallic trash bin. Muffled, stuffy, unbalanced, and very directional with no effect of surround sound whatsoever. It is very clear where the audio is coming from - a tiny box in front of the TV. We ended up purchasing a standard size bar (we made some setup changes to fit it) from another company for less money and that sounds amazing. This MINI produces about the sound quality of a cheap Blu tooth speaker. It's a shame it's so expensive. I am grateful for their return policy, however.

The speaker sounds great but the subwoofer refused to work. The tech said they would send a new one. It's sad that we had so much hassle but we will see when the new one arrives.

MagniFi Mini?s Big Sound
The MagniFi Mini is a sharp looking product with a big sound. It is perfect as a TV sound bar for the bedroom. It fills the room with sound without distortion and the wireless subwoofer makes it?s placement a breeze to accomplish.

Subwoofer defect
I ordered a Polk Mini and had subwoofer was defective. I contacted Polk and they reviewed my order and sent a replacement with no problems. I was absolutely happy with how they handled the situation and pleased with quality of product! Highly recommend this product if you?re looking for a sound bar.

Good sound when it works.
I purchased this several years ago from Best Buy and it?s been nothing but trouble. The sound is great when it works however it?s a rarity that it does. It?s connected to an LG TV and when I turn my tv on their is no sound from the speaker. I have to cycle the power on and off several times with a 30 second pause in between. That will sometimes do the trick. Both my tv and the unit itself have the most updated software. Waste of $300 + and I will never purchase anything from Polk Audio again.

Works and sounds great for over three years!
Always been a Polk fan, I have owned Polk's LSI15s and others. The Magnifi Mini is perfect for small to medium rooms, creating a surprising semi-surround sound experience with full rich sound. Compact, clean set up.

No sound!
I bought the mini about a year ago and it completely stopped sound when connected to the TV. I've reset the sound bar multiple times and nothing. What should I do? It has the most up to date firmware update, but absolutely nothing!

Big sound out of little box
Bought this last year at best buy. Guy that worked there was raving about how good they sound. Showed us demo. Wife wanted it so here it is. I have to say im blown away how loud and clear it sounds when watching movies. Such big sound out of small box. Sub is ok with movies. Don't expect much. Sounds way better with music and games. But at its price can't argue. Because of how good it sounds. I have decided to stay with polk. I know plan on buying polks reserve line for my home theater. So thank you polk

sub woofer won't sync
Had mag mini & worked great for 10 months. Subwoofer will no linger sync even with firmware update. Sound bar still works but no subwoofer. Tech support no help

Awesome sound but issues w/BT and subwoofer.
I’ve had this since 2019 of June and it has been in my bedroom. I’ve thought of countless times to replace it but there isn’t anything I would want. When I first got it set up was a breeze. The legendary SDA technology really shows this soundbar up. Wide sound, great vocals and the subwoofer plays tight, loud and bass extension were really good for a 6 inch subwoofer. I have it connected to my Google home to stream music in, for netflix and as well as my PS4. It even sounds better than the Yamaha yas 209 in my living room. I’m just so sad that the Bluetooth sometimes have a hard time connecting now on my devices. I’ll have to manually disconnect them and re-sync it again. At times I feel like the subwoofer is playing extremely loud even at the lowest settings which I know there is something glitching. Overall I love the way it sounds and I don’t wanna replace it with anything else. Is there anything can Polk do to help?

Stops working
At first the sound bar was awesome and volume was good. As time when by and you would either raise the volume or low it, or even when you change the channel the speaker would disconnect and change from mode HDMI to mode ON and stops working.

Lasted less than a year
Purchased on Amazon. The soundbar developed a loud clicking noise. I called Polk and they offered no help! Very disappointed in the product and lack of support by Polk!

I bought the mini in June of this year. It worked fine except the night mode didn't do much except turn the volume down. We had to turn the volume back up to hear the voices but then we had to turn the volume down when there were action scenes. A few weeks went by and the sub woofer started to make crackling noises. Then the bass started to thump louder than before. Long story short, I put the unit in the closet and am using a $30 bar that I bought for my computer. And it sounds way better.
