I've loved Polk Audio every since I heard their SRS series, way back in the day. Matthew Polk left JBL Labs to create, in my opinion, the BEST sounding loudspeaker. For the money, you simply can't beat Polk Audio. Their sound and performance is ALWAYS way above their price range. And the TSx550's are the center-point (flagship) of my home theater!

I have a set of 2-way book shelf speakers from Polk Audio (TSx200B in Cherry) with a Polk Audio dual 10" sub-woofer which I wired up myself and I was wowed by the sound quality. Then these floor standing speakers went on sale at a great price. Well, needless to say, they sound great even without the added sub-woofer to the book shelf speakers. Though I will still be keeping the sub-woofer and the 2-way speakers will be my surround speakers. If you need some good floor standing speakers keep these in mind. They are excellent speakers that provide excellent range and the sale price really can't be beat.

So far so good, just hooked up, still going thru set up process and calibration, Using with my Denon AVR X4200W.
