The S35 was an instant upgrade for us. We were having trouble with hearing dialogue prior to getting the S35. It made a huge difference for us.

This is an excellent center channel speaker. It replaced a 20-25 year old Sony in. 7.2.4 setup. I can hear so much more detail. Music and movies have so much more presence and a much fuller sound. Highly recommended.

This replaces a larger Yamaha center channel speaker. Audio quality is comparable in a nice modern dark wood cabinet

Really love this speaker. Inexpensive, nice and clear crisp sound. I just needed a center speaker to fill in the rest of my components. I needed a slim size to go into my TV cabinet shelf and this speaker fit the bill perfectly. It arrived and was shipped quickly, the packaging was excellent. The speaker was in beautiful condition. Would definitely buy from Polk again. It's perfect

This is my first Polk speaker I have ever owned. I am amazed in the build quality and most of all the performance. I was so impressed with this center channel speaker. I replaced all my surround sound speakers with Polk. That totally change how I watch movies. Even my wife commented on the huge difference. She has asked if we can watch certain movies again just because of the sound quality.

First of all what impressed me was the overall weight of the unit - very hefty feeling. I have a dedicated media room with a 65" 4K Samsung TV and a new Denon receiver. I'm extremely pleased with the sprectrum of frequencies with a robust sound too. Finally, we can clearly hear all the nuances and tonal inflections as actors speak. Also I used the black molded front so that it just disappears into the background of the TV and cabinet. It fits well and looks classy.

The finish is great and the height of the speaker fits my application well. Movie voice reproduction without equalization is better than the Bose VCS-10 that it replaced, and it is a good value at the price point. However, I was hopng for increased vocal clarity, especially for female voices. Any suggestions?

I am finally buying my own Christmas gift coming early, replacing aging center speaker over 26 yrs old. Great craftsmanship, wood grain, quality and superb sound is exactly what Polk delivered and for the sale of the yr to me I had to buy.

I replaced a old Cambridge Soundworks center channel speaker with the S35. Very happy with the sound and voice clarity. I was quite surprised that the S35 has a slightly higher volume with no other changes. I need to go back and re-equalize the speaker volume to get the right balance.

This is a great looking and great sounding center speaker that seems to sound better the more I play it. Amazing detail and good base from 3.5" midwoofers. I guess its time to upgrade the LS70 main speakers with something better.

I saw this speaker on sale and I had to buy it on the Polk Audio website. A wonderful center channel speaker. My other surround speakers are also Polk Audio so I knew I was getting a quality product. Highly recommend this amazing speaker.

I?ve only had the speaker a short time, but I was very pleased with how neutral and clear the dialogue for my new 7.1.2 setup is. It has a rich, soft, pleasant tone. Not shrill, sharp or harsh. Got rid of the boxy sound my previous center channel had.

Great sound and looks nice. Fits under a lot of TV's. Nice to have black mesh screen as some folks might be distracted with the screen mesh not attached.

Sound is outstanding, better than I expected. Build quality was nice and solid however the two plastic parts on the back for the bass ports or whatever they call them were very loose. Since I was wall mounting it I needed to make sure these were tight.

I recently purchased the S35 to bridge the gap between my Monitor 10B floorstanders and my 4 MC80 in ceiling overhead speakers.(All Polk). My Polk TL-1 center was fine for dialogue, but had no midbass whatsoever due to it?s tiny drivers. Enter the S35: With it?s 6 3? drivers it gave me the upper midbass I was lacking, probably somewhere around the 300-400 hz range. In addition to that, the 1? tweeter is so smooth and silky it toned down the mild harshness I had from the TL-1?s 3/4? tweeter. Have it crossed over at 80 hz and it sounds great with music and movies, as well as television programs. I could not be more pleased! I have been a Polk customer since 1987 when I purchased my beloved Monitor 10B?s and they are still my main speakers and sound absolutely awesome to this day! Do yourself a favor and try the S35 center speaker if you have limited space like I did.(Placed under TV on mantle). You can?t go wrong with Polk!

I have yet to hook up and use my new Polk center channel speaker after moving. As always, I know that Polk makes great speakers and I have never been disappointed. Currently, I owner a pair of Polk towers, the center channel, and a set of bookshelf speakers.
