bomber case

I am using this to store and transport a camera in an underwater housing in a salt-water environment. Sturdy -purpose driven housing. Not lightweight, but passes the samsonite gorilla test. Positive latch works with wet hands or gloves. Does a great job protecting from dust and water. I have used many Pelican cases in boats and kayaks they can take getting banged around and sloshed in water. Not meant for long term submersion, but will preserve your camera if you flood your boat or drop the case in the water, particularly if you keep sand outta the o-ring seal. replacement o-rings are cheap

Fits my D90 and 18-200mm plus more

I bought this for a week long canoe and camping trip to protect my gear from rain or perhaps an accidental fall or capsize. I debated over this model or the one that is slightly smaller, and based on reviews chose the added depth of this box. I like the pluck out foam squares and I was able to secure my gear quickly. I could bring everything I wanted: D90 with 18-200mm lens, SB400 flash, extra filter in case, remote, small tripod, and lens pen. I'm pretty sure there is room for one more small lens if I ever want. It is heavy duty and waterproof and I have no worry that if it dropped my gear is fine. MY only wish is that it was slightly less heavy, but I know that this would come at the price of durability.

PELICAN MAKES AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT, THIS IS MY THIRD ONE, VERY PLEASED. THE 1300 CASE EASILY FITS MY OLYMPUS E-410 WITH BOTH LENSES, CHARGER AND EXTRA BATTERY.

Great for Canon A570is + UW case + acces

This box is great for our new Canon A570is and Underwater case. It also holds the battery charger and extra cards. The pick and pluck foam padding is really cool. I highly recommend this box!
