The pros are all based around providing saftey and security for the Apple 15 inch computer. I don't worry about it when in this case! Cons include price point and bulk. What is peace of mind worth?

I travel on a regular basis and wanted a rugged case for my laptop; after all, the recent commercial showing a flight attendant cramming a laptop bag into the overhead bin is not far from the truth. This case provides fantastic protection. The pick and pluck foam allowed me easily create a perfect outline for my laptop and set aside another area for my power supply. The latches are very secure. When using this case, I have no concerns about people trying to cram bags into an overhead and damaging my laptop. On the downside, it's wider than any previous case I've carried and I still bang it into doors and walls as I turn. It is a bit large to fit well under the seat on the airplane; I do this whenever possible but it sticks out enough to consume what little room I would normally have for my feet. Also, the leather organizer in the lid could use more sealable pockets. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and am pleased to have such a strong case for my laptop.

Great, but not for the weak if one plans to lug it around through airports.
