What's not to like it's a pelican well made (solid) myself I like the foam insert easy to work with what ever your putting in it I like to set it on top take some tooth picks space them around it remove it and slide your hand down along side the tooth picks pull the the foam out perfect fit. I also would like to think everyone at Adorama 5 star customer service

I bought this case in anticipation of a trip to Iceland. I always planned to use it as carry-on, but wanted a hard case just in case the rules changed while I was out of the country, forcing me to check it on the way home. This was the largest Pelican case which fit in under Icelandair's carry-on size guidelines and I had no issues with using it as such. The case itself is a bit heavy, but I never once worried about it or my gear. Without sweating space efficiency I was able to easily pack a D7200 with 16-80VR attached, 70-200VR, spare battery and charger, portable backup drive, Gopro and several mounts, table-top tripod, camera rain cover, travel power adapter, battery powerbank, and several other bits of miscellany.

I have two of these for my lenses and two camera bodies. They are the only product I trust to secure my gear, the first 1500 series case I bought 17 years ago and it still functions like new. The padded dividers are nice because as your gear changes you simply rearrange the dividers to fit. I can put one in the truck and drive to a location with gear intact. These are solid and well made cases and they simply work.

For a recent scuba dive trip, I needed a water tight case for my photo gear that was small enough to carry on a plane. I had it jammed full with a digital camera, 4 lenses, and an external flash, along with my underwater camera with all its lenses, housing and external flash. The case was very heavy with all that gear, but I will not travel without it. Highly recommended.

This case can hold a reasonable amount of gear, camera body two or three lenses and battery grip.The construction is excellent and will be a great benefit to protect my gear when its travelling in the boot etc. if I was to be a little picky I would have hoped to fit the camera body plus grip into the case attatched but there is not enough depth for this, otherwise a fantastic product.
