Shopper : What is the lead time on this case?ROBERT H : If the question is how long does it take, from order processing to delivery, the answer is almost immediately.
NIMA S : Is it possible to replace the main storage compartment for padded divider keeping the laptop case in its position?STEFAN W : I suspect it would be possible, but it would not be seamless or easy. The main compartment has a zippered fabric separator/cover that you would probably have to cut out with scissors. Then you'd have to purchase foam to fill the cavity and configure to your needs. So, if I understand your question, I would say it is possible, but perhaps not easy. I wonder if Pelican doesn't make another product that is already configured that way?THOMAS K : The main storage compartment zipper case is glued near the top. It can be ripped out if you want to put in dividers. You can still put padded dividers in the case without having to remove the zipper case.SHARIF H : No. It's all built in. Only the lid compartments can be replaced. Get the pelican 1510 adapted by Studio Cruzer instead. Google themDAVID H : The bottom portion appears to be glued-in, so it does not look like it would easily facilitate such a conversion.Peter La D : Yes

With a great deal of room to spare.STEFAN W : I would certainly think it would fit... but that's not what this case is really designed for. It's meant for clothing & travel stuff in the main compartment and your laptop (in a separate laptop compartment). The main compartment is not thickly padded. I don't think I would recommend this case for use as a camera case. I think there are many other Pelican cases that would be better suited for transporting your DSLR + Lens. Just my opinion :-)TODD S : Definitely big enough. You'll just need to have a way to pack it in tightly inside the case so it doesn't flop around inside. I think there are foam inserts you can buy where you can cut them to size if you wanted to go that route.

Pelican 1510 LOC

Great travel case if you want a bomb proof solution for transporting your gear. It's a little on the heavy side, however the build quality and protection you get makes up for the downside. I would certainly recomend this case!

Protects a little very well.

This case is sold with neither internal dividers nor foam. Until one or the other is added, it is virtually useless.
