The case itself is great and easy to travel with. The foam padding leaves a little to be desired if you want to pack a bunch of stuff into the case...the little sections are tedious to work with. For a little more room (but with plenty of padding) I took out the egg carton top and created a custom top foam insert from an old memory foam mattress and a pillow case that I sewed the padding into. I can snugly fit a Canon 5dmkiii body, Profoto D1 + cable, and 5 prime lenses (14-100mm) into the case.

Great Product, I'm glad I bought this when I did, Price has gone up about 100 Dollars. But that was 15 years ago, and they didn't have the yellow color dividers but then. I would still buy it today

Secure and fairly roomy. Used as a carry on and fit perfectly in the overhead storage area of the plane. Padded dividers are easily reorganized though the default setup accommodated all of my equipment.

Pelican has been my go to for decades and the quality is still not surpassed. It will take a beating and protect your gear. Also, the protector series is still made here in America which is a major plus for those who seek to support domestic businesses. (or in my case local businesses since their factory/headquarters is here in Southern California)

Had over $10K worth of camera gear in this case survive undamaged after being submerged for 1 hour in an overturned whitewater raft. There was minor leakage but the foam kept it away from the gear. It also allowed easy access to my gear when the river wasn't so 'wild'.

The perfect air travel case; fit my Red, lenses, cables, batteries, etc. Makes a good seat when waiting at the airport too :) It's still in perfect condition after some heavy use! Wheels are great, and roll very well, and the pull out handle is actually robust! With the net/mesh top section added, it fits most of my kit.

I have a telephoto lens on a A7 that goes into this case, and I can throw it into the trunk of my car without worrying about the camera inside. I've also taken it places, like aboard boats to use the telephoto lens and camera to take photos. It's great that the case has wheels and a handle that extends. In very real way this is a shipping crate, which means it is tough!!! I've had mine for several years, and also own a larger one that has gone to shows. There is no replacement for what these two case have done for me and the durability they have that gives me peace of mind that my equipment can be locked up and safe from the environment, even the trunk of my car.
