Pelican 1519 Lid Organizer for 1510 Series Cases

Needed a little more space in my case to complete my camera kit and this was the best accessory for the job. This organizer gave me a place to store extra batteries, cables, and business card. Now I have two extra slots in my case because the lid organizer is able to store a lot of my smaller objects.

Used this on my Apache 5800 case from Harbor Freight! Holes are off just a mm for that but you can get it to fit! This adds so much more storage space for the price!

Well built and easy to install. Works excellently and essential for a working shooter who needs to fit a lot of accessories in a travel case. Just be careful to make sure your screws are seated all the way in or you may find a loose one in the bottom of your case.

This fit perfectly in my Pelican 1510 despite a couple of the screw holes not lining up properly. They were offset ever so slightly, but I was still able to get the organizer mounted.

I spent a lot of time looking for a lid organizer for my Pelican1510 Series Case. There are a lot of options out there. I had a lot of cables, batteries and other photography nick-nacks that I needed to organize. I finally purchased the Pelican 1519 Lid Organizer for 1510 Series Case. PROS 1) Mounting holes lined up perfectly with the case. 2) Multiple pockets with different orientation (horizontal & vertical) 3) Zippers for each pouch 4) Mesh, so you can see the contents of each pouch. 5) It holds a lot of items! CONS 1) A little pricey - but it does the job!

as a professional cinematographer, shooting film and digital, I love the lid organizer for my new 1510 Pelican case - I carry all my light meters, a stills camera lenses, an iPad and a wave form monitor in the body of the case. Everything I need to set up a shot, light and expose it. And the Lid Organizer takes care of cables and clamps and all the little thigs that would oherwise be lost somewhere at the bottom of the case.

I'm on my third one. The first the zippers failed not one but 2 zippers. The 2nd the netting wore out easily, several spots with holes. The 3rd one I'm trying to baby it hopefully it will last longer than the others.

Makes the pelican case much more useful to transport kit. Easy to install. My only complaint would be that the zippers seem to lack quality. One of the zipper pulls bent early from normal usage.

If you buy this case you need the lid organizer if you want to carry spare batteries mounts cables etc. It does replace the foam top so if you need that protection it's one or the otherr. Comes on and off with a couple of small screws very easily.

Great product for the price! I'm a little unsure of how it will hold up over time, but at $30, it's no biggie to have to replace it every now and then. Overall, tons of space, and a must have organizer for the 1510!

It is a good accessory for the Pelican Travel case. It it well made and it organizes all the smaller items in one convenient local in order to find later on.The only minor draw back is that the upper lid foam cannot be used with this item. If you could find a way to trim the upper lid foam by half of its thickness it would be perfect in knowing that your gear is well protected.

Fast shipping... Well packaged ... Easy to install... Works great... Slight revision on the installation procedure and optional parts... Pre-drill the holes and drive the screw into the pre-drilled holes... Makes it much easier to install...Also add or change out the washers with bigger diameter ones so you don't have the screws pull through the plastic easily...

The organizer is a definite improvement o we the foam lid. It seems to be able to hold a lot more than it should! But, I've had a couple of these over the years and they do wear out eventually. I recommend using larger washers than the ones provided to prevent any of the screws from blowing out.

This is a MUST accessory for the Pelican 1510 case, as one may store many small needed photo items, with ease of access being the best advantage. It is spacious and well-constructed, with easy-open zippered pouches . . . can't go wrong adding this!

You can't fill up the pouches and expect the Pelican 1510 to close completely with a full assortment of pro sized gear. My D3 and D2x sit a bit on the tall side in the 1510. One or two large zippered pouches could work just as well.

Great accessory for your Pelican 1510 although unfortunately it will render the foam pad that came with the hard case obsolete since you cannot use it when having the organizer installed. You will have to get a thin foam pad to protect the equipment. The organizer is easy to attach and seems well constructed.
