I am an astronomer, and started on a different site in search of a top notch case for my cache of eyepieces, etc. But that site had dropped the one that sure looked like a Pelican, but they would not confirm this but tried to recommend their card board or plywood models under their own label. Now eyepieces need to be protected from dropping breakage to be sure, but also moisture that can infiltrate. Having had a Yellow Pelican smaller case for my 11 x 80mm binoculars for 20 years with NO issues of any kind (including 80 mm glass solar filters), I decided to see what Pelican had available. Yes, they are pricey, but so is the eyepiece collection. So I decided to return to my tried & true friends at Adorama & found a matching Yellow case that was 25% larger, and ON SALE for about 50% off! Be still my beating heart! It is perfect and I have fashioned secure sites for everything in the foam, after watching 3-4 DYI videos on YouTube that are quite helpful, including how to "harden" the foam once completed to stifle additional separation beyond what you intended. If you ever examined Pelican, you know it almost goes without saying, they are the best. And I know of NO Better or more reliable place to purchase than Adorama. jbc

Well built and rugged case as one would expect from Pelican. Easily fits two large DSLR’s three prime lenses, a couple full size flashes and triggers.

I'm using this for my laptop and all my AV work stuff. It's awesome, it fits all my cables, batteries, connectors, and my folio and files, for far less than the laptop specific case.

I purchased this case to protect my equipment. Not knowing what the Pelican case had in store because I never owned nor seen one up close before mine arrived. I can not tell you how impressed I was with this case. The construction is excellent, from the gasket to the burp valve. Well worth the money, you will not go wrong with a Pelican case purchase.

I bought junk first, then I did some research and bought Pelican. No more worries about my cameras. I purchased two Pelican cases as I have two complete cameras, flashes and lenses. One of the best selling points: Every sized Pelican I saw on [...]was like new no matter how many years it had been used and they sold for almost new prices. If I was going to pay new prices, I may as well get a new one with new foam in it. After using two of these cases, Pelican would be my recommendation if you don't want to worry about the safety of your expensive camera equipment. I was sold before I ever got my camera, lenses and flash into the case because of the construction, deep foam bed and closure latches. As a sports photographer, I use a 4 wheeler to get around the racetrack for my shots. My next purchase will be another Pelican to permanently attach to the back of my atv to hold my equipment.

I bolted this to the back of my KLR650 motorcycle. Most people won't be drilling/machining this case, but it was relatively easy with a hand drill. The case is thick enough that I am not worried about the bolts "tearing" through the case or otherwise breaking it. The walls are actually quite thick. This is a great size for the back of most motorcycles. The only drawback is the price. Like all Pelican products, it is a little expensive, but to me it is worth it.

I was looking for a case to protect my investment in a DSLR, flash, lens', and accessories that I would use when shooting away from home. This is an awesome case. You could literally park a car on it. The dividers are convenient and versatile. It is watertight and carries well. It may be a little on the heavy side for some people to carry comfortably but it isn't prohibative at all. If you are going to be out and about and want more protection than a softsided case provides such as when traveling on a plane or when you might encounter rain or be near water at all, you should seriously consider this case. Why put your expensive camera in a cheap case?

I have really enjoyed Pelican cases. I think they are very convenient to use and organize your gear, and I find I can access it much quicker than with soft photo bags. A treat to work out of, but not for carrying around all day.
