JENNIFER K : What is the height of each individual piece (bottom, pick and pluck and the convoluted top)?KEN B : The bottom is approx 3/4 inch, middle pick and pluck is approx 4 inches and the top lid piece is approx 1 3/4 inches. Have purchased the replacement numerous times. It is a perfect fit. KenDAVID M : As i remember (it's not here in front of me), the bottom piece is about 1 inch tall, the egg crate part is about the same, maybe a peak height of 1.5 inches. the pick/pluck fills in the rest, and together they fill the total internal height. i hope that helps...CHESTER F : There is a full 4" down to the bottom of foam that can be removed. It might be possible to get another 1/2" in. I've used the foam that I removed to make other items fit tightly. The top foam will also give some, but the more thickness the better protection. The top foam varies from about 1" to 1.75" spikes. The very bottom foam in about 1/4". The case is very solid, so that just keeping items in place is the major project, the 1520 does a superior of protection. /cfKCWY E : The foam for the lid is 1-1/2" thick.(measured from flat back to top of bumps) The Pick and Pluck is 3-7/8" thick. bottom is 3/4" thick. The three together fit tightly in this case. You can make openings for your items just in the middle area and they will sit with foam all around protecting from shock and damage.
