Really well made, but you lose quite a bit of internal storage space. Not sure I would buy this again (but still recommended based on build-quality, alone)

American made, quality craftsmanship - definitely built to last. The inside partitions you need to get right the first time because once you make the cuts your somewhat locked in to that configuration - my gear set up changes constantly and I may need to use this case for travel so I am thus far a little hesitant to committing to cutting the sections out. I would like to see something that would a little more flexible in new versions of this case but it's a great addition to my gear.

So light and yet super sturdy. Haven?t even used the wheels yet?been so easy to grab it and go for shoots. Loving how the latches work too. Haven?t put all the dividers in yet but that looks easy too. So glad I spent the money for the Pelican Air!!

Excellent system but it needs one more divider panel. Panel cutting is simplified with included device.

This is a great hard case. The TrekPak divider system is a good solution and the case is lighter than Pelican 1510. Nice case, bit over priced.

I?ve heard amazing things about this case and it lived up to all of them. It?s light and compact and holds so much gear! Plus, the TrekPak divider system is so easy to set up and makes it very customizable. I love it!

Case arrived fast and in great shape. Now using it for Fuji GFX 100s, plus three of the larger lenses and extension tubes. Fits great and keeps everything tight and dry. Would purchase again and recommend to others.

The Pelican 1535TP Air Wheeled Carry-On Case with TrekPak Divider System is well built, highly useful, attractive and easily stored when not in use. For those in need of a portable, secure, time tested design consider this and other Pelican products.

As well constructed as you would expect from the Pelican system. The TrekPak Divider system is good - its only weakness I think is when you have a growing setup, and being able to plan ahead. Think ahead, experiment, and only then set it up and you'll be good. Very satisfied with this, so much so I have two of them!

I love it. Fits all of my camera gear and offers real protection for international travel. Plus it is small enough to carry on the plane and the rollers make it super easy. Thanks Jimmy for your help in selecting the best case. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who takes photography seriously.

Love it! Needed a good case to travel with for all of my photography gear. It’s perfect- light, sturdy, fits in airline overhead bin, and protects my equipment. I love the trekpak dividers as well. Everything looks organized and in its right place. I can fit - my 2 camera bodies, 4 lenses (including 2 zoom: 24-70 & 70-300), 2 speedlights, transmitters, batteries, and sd cards with case.

There seem to be two versions, older one without the top handle and newer one with it added. (description sometimes says 2017 on newer but not sure how careful they are when fulfilling order). If you use it all day everyday like I do, make sure you get the version without the top handle. The case becomes a convenient seat wherever you go! Sports, runway, subway, airport, lines, just waiting around. Extra security too as case harder to snatch and grab if you sitting on it. Imagine shooting a soccer game for 2 hrs with a lumpy handle poking you in the arse. It's not laziness either, good sports photographers know to get low. I remember a few months ago being next to Fashion Week house photographer Frazer Harrison, he had a 1510 case and resorted to using airplane neck pillow to cushion the top handle of the case. Everyone I've shown the smooth top to thought it was a great idea.

I really appreciate Adorama and their staff. I’m a freelance Creative Director, DP and editor. I work on TV, WEB and film content. My clients range fro start up’s to major entertainment entities. I’m. Confidant when I have a job and need something that Adorama and their staff will help me with this needs. The staff are knowledgeable about the gear they are selling and will help you find the right gear for the job even if it means going elsewhere for that gear.

The overall quality of the case seemed good, and the lighter weight was welcome. But the pull-out handle was really cheap feeling and flimsy, and flopped around when extended -- not at all solid. Very disappointing. There was also no button to unlock and extend the pull-out handle (for pulling the case), so it wasn't a one-handed process I could just reach down, grab the handle, extend it, and move on. Likewise for putting the handle back. The Nanuk handles are far superior, I feel. I ended up returning this one.

I'll be hauling my gear to Italy in this case, In the event I have to check it, I won't worry about it being crushed by the airlines. I bought it because of the possibility of a full ban on any electronics on flights in the future. Great product made in the USA.

I owned the Pelican 1510 prior to purchasing the 1535 air. The air is by far much lighter and much quieter than the 1510. When I say quieter I mean it comes with soft rolling wheels instead of the hard plastic ones on the 1510 so while you're rolling on pavement there is a lot less vibration on your gear and hands and much less noise. It holds just as much equipment as the 1510 and I love the yellow padded dividers instead of the black padded dividers. The yellow makes finding lens caps so much easier! Overall would definitely recommend this case to anyone on the go and who flies a lot. It is sized to fit most standard airline overhead bays.

This case is great with only few down sides. The usable depth is not listed correctly because they do not include the thickness of the foam at the bottom and top of the case. You really only have about 5.5 inches of depth to work with. However, you really can't get better protection for your gear in this form factor. Anything bigger would not be carry on size and as such I wouldn't buy anything else.

After TSA Security check managed to dump my soft case upside down, cracking the top and permanently depressing buttons on my new Canon 5D Mark IV (for a repair cost of $), I purchased the Pelican 1535TP to deal with future air travel. The TP version offers limitless variations, with space to add additional padding where necessary (like around my 5D). It's heavy, but worth the extra weight in reassurances.

I was carrying my gear across two poor quality backpacks so this upgrade really was an upgrade. I love this thing, the wheels roll silently across smooth floors and don't make too much noise over non smooth ground. It makes lugging around all my gear so much easier and has that same Pelican quality I'm used to. The TrekPak dividers are neat and work well

I will probably learn to love the case ! It's great that it weighs less than the 1510 I've used for years.... HOWEVER the one thing that had I realized in advance would probably have made me think longer before buying.... the 1510 has a handle on the top (side with the pull-out handle for rolling)... THE 1535 DOES NOT. Yes, there is a handle on the pull-out but it's not balanced for the case. I'm sure I will get used to this problem... but it would have been PERFECT if it had that handle.

Protect Cameras If Required To Be Checked by Airlines
By JEANNE S.
I normally carry all my camera gear in the Lowepro Sling 250, and carry it on the airplanes with me. But I have several trips coming up overseas, and am worried the rules may be changed by the airlines to require all electronics other than cell phones to be checked. As protection just in case, I purchased this Pelican bag, the smallest and lightest on wheels without any interior foam or padding. My loaded LowePro Sling 250 fits perfectly inside the Pelican case, and will give the camera ge...
