Great Case
Pelican Cases are a standard setting product and benchmark for other case companies to aspire to. I have a 20 year old Pelican case that I use daily.

Perfect for customizing your Pelican Case.
This is a 2 layers foam insert for the pelican 1600 case. It has small squares pre-cut Son you can create custom divisions. Very practical.

Solid protection for your investment
It is larger than I had anticipated despite reviewing the specifications. I primarily got it for peace of mind after reading about issues others experienced with soft cases. Short of throwing it out of a plane or an unreasonably fast moving vehicle, I should be covered.

Pelican 1600
Pelican makes the highest quality protection cases i have ever used. They are very sturdy and keep your equipment safe and sound. I highly recommend Pelican to everyone I know.

Pelican Products are the best
There's no need for review of the case; if you've ever owned a pelican product you know it's the best there is. The one thing I would like to comment on would be for Adormama to provide some detail about condition of the product when it's used to include some pictures. Other than that I enjoy doing business with them very much so.

Just right
This case will hold all the gear I need for my trips to Glacier and Yellowstone. I plan to use this case for extended stay trips. The Pelican case also safely stores most of my photography gear.

Good Protection
This is the second 1600 for me. The latches seem more difficult to open/close than my first one. Otherwise I am please with it.

Pelican 1600 Hard Case
After searching for months, I settled on the Pelican 1600 case. Pelican manufactures many cases and sizes with many options. After reviewing many cases, the Pelican cases offered me what I was looking for. I wanted a waterproof box with padded dividers. I wanted a case to store my Canon lenses and extenders (EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM, EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Tele Zoom, EF 300mm f/4L IS USM macro, EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Wide EF 2X II Extender Telephoto), 2 flash heads (speedlite 580EX & 430EX), batteries and charger for camera and speedlites and associated photo equipment. This box is extremely well made, deep and wide and waterproof. The snaps locks, 2 on each side and 2 on the top ensure that the top is locked closed, air tight. The case has holes for adding an optional lock, which I did install. It also comes with a pop value to equalize pressure, which may be necessary during a flight. I would have preferred another color other than black, oh well! I think the padded dividers are a MUST. The “Pick ‘N Pluck” foam is not very good. It sounds good but not very durable and versatile. I use it in other cases that I own and the foam is constantly tearing and after awhile you have a mess.Most distributers don’t have detailed information on their sites. I suggest you go to Pelican [@]to selects the model/options you want and then look for you price/distributer. Be careful, most cases come with the foam or padded dividers. You won’t go wrong with this case. It is made for a lifetime. It will protect your investment and is worth the cost. The only downside is that it is heavy.

Excellent Case
This is the fourth Pelican case I have owned, and they have all been top notch. It's easy to customize the pick'n'pluck foam interior. I have used them to transport delicate, expensive video equipment in very rough conditions, particularly involving dirt, rain, and rough handling, and the cases have been perfect. They also make a good step stool if you need to raise your eye level an extra ten inches.
