Excellent room for my lights, drone and additional lens. Very protective and secure, but also large and hefty. Just be careful on how much you load into it for traveling.

The 1610 is a fantastic tough case. I love it although, if I am flying, I use the 1510 since the 1510 fits in the overhead compartment. The 1610 has additional handles and locks because of its size. Great for securing my photographic equipment.

Great case. I use it for weapons and optics transportation. Easy case with wheels to bring my gear back and forth. The perforated foam is great for customization of how you'd like to store your equipment. Also everything in there feels really safe from physical damage and water damage. It also has two places to place locks for more security. Highly recommend this case.

I use it to store and transport my telescope mount (Celestron AVX). Using the plucked foam, all pieces, except tripod, fit very nicely and in one place.

It's only a matter of getting the right size as these are excellent. I use the foam inserts and these are a nice quality pick and plus foam as well. Maybe someday we'll see a lighter weight version, but other than that - not much to do that would make it better.

This is my third Pelican case. It’s well made as is to expect from this manufacturer. By far it’s my largest case and your equipment will be protected. Due to its size it is not an option to carry on the plane. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Pelican makes the best cases. This is my second Pelican case. The first I bought for my camera bodies and lenses. The second I purchased for location lights. These cases are great! They are very tough, wheeled, and sealed. As others have said, they aren't light. Hence the wheels. If you're going to buy a case, go with a Pelican.

I love the size of this pelican case. It is perfect for our trade show accessories and something we can use over and over again. It keeps everything nice and snug and protected without any worry of fragile items breaking during transport.

Basically this is exactly what you should expect. Solid, durable. Well constructed. It is a bit deeper than I would like for camera gear, but is working. My primary objection is that the storm iM2720 is basically the same case, but better latches, better wheel system (IMO). So there is nothing wrong with this case, per se. Except Pelican themselves make one that is likely "better."

I have 5 DSLRs with 5 lenses and assorted accessories in one 1610 case with dividers and all my sound equipment in a 1600! I needed another 1610 with dividers for a new u/w housing purchase for my 5DSR. There's plenty of room and discounts help!

I bought this case as a much more durable alternative to the traditional suitcase for travel. I originally bought a Pelican 1510 for that purpose but found that I needed something bigger. This thing is able to swallow up an impressive amount of stuff and keep it protected from the elements and airline baggage handlers. The option to lock the case with padlocks is a plus for me, keeps the honest people honest. I know using these cases for transporting clothes and stuff isn't what they were originally designed for, but Id rather spent more on a case that will probably last me the rest of my life than having to replace suitcases all the time. Plus without the foam, I can make my own organization system that works for me. For the times I have transported delicate things, these cases work great for that too. Helped a friend with his photography equipment and the case kept his lenses and all that safe while it bounced around in the truck, just remember to use good straps to secure the case down, not bungee cords like we did. :) All in all, worth the price of admission. Id recommend these cases to anyone.
