I travel through airports with photography gear and this is the right case for me. I really like the buttons on the latches that make for smoother opening and closing. This case makes me feel like my gear is secure.

This product exceeded my expectations. Very happy with purchase. I had to make a last minute decision whether or not I wanted the foam interior or the padded dividers. After consulting the sales representative, he recommended I go with the padded dividers. I was very glad that I went with his advice. I was very impressed with overall quality of my new case.

I needed a case I could carry my camera gear on a plane- always fighting with the 50lbs airline baggage limit- This case is slightly smaller (about an inch on width and height) but saves over 15 lbs of case weight- 15 more pounds I can travel with- the walls of the case are not as rigid as my previous pelican case- so I’m hoping it can take the punishment and still protect futile camera electronics .

This padding is very modular allowing you to configure your case in just about any fashion. I can easily fit and organize my EVA1, Atomos Shogun Inferno, shoulder mount, VCT plate, follow focus, batteries, media, battery chargers, and tons of other accessories in separate compartments, making it really easy to quickly grab what I need out of the case. I'm a little worried about durability as I'm not sure how well the padding will hold up after years of use, but I've had for a few months now and taken it on several jobs, and so far everything has held up well. I've checked my case with baggage handlers on travel gigs, and so far all my gear remains unbroken (knock on wood). The padding seems thick and durable enough to protect and last.

This thing is an absolute tank. My only complaint is I wish the main piece of foam in the middle was perforated in half, this would make it slightly easier to pull out pieces that are the correct size.

Finally a larger Pelican Air case. I was so tired of having my larger pelicans being incredibly heavy. This is the way to go, especially for those who travel a lot.

Great case! Upgraded to this from Tenba Air that didn't have wheels. The new lighter weight materials allowed us to keep the weight of our lighting kit under 50# which wasn't possible before. My assistant has never been happier.

The Pelican 1615TP is one of those products you don't realize you need at the beginning of your photography journey. Only after a decade of fooling around with every other option to pack, haul, and store a growing kit does it become the obvious choice. If you plan on a lifetime of photography, don’t hesitate.This 1615 trekpak case is great for a system of 3 bodies and a dozen lenses, plus flashes, batteries and accessories. I ordered a TrekPak supplement from the Pelican website so I could make more compartments. If you drive from one job to another, or plan a longer excursion and want to safely transport all your gear at once, its ideal… it’s now my vehicle “working bag” that keeps everything secure, immediately accessible. TrekPak is easy to size and is, soft, durable and modular. Case is light enough to handle as luggage, rolls well, has sturdy latches and lock rings. Highly Recommended. Should have bought it in 2005.

I got this to carry my gear for onlocation/wedding shots. I have too much gear and was carrying multiple bags. this one is great, light but sturdy, I like the TrekPak dividers, Just take the time to measure and layout correctly. I wish it came with a little more dividers, but contacted the manufacturer. they sell individual additional pieces. Definitely recommend it.

I initially purchased my pelican case with just the pick and pluck foam but after 6 months of use, the foam began to rip apart and become unusable. So I bit the bullet and purchased the divider set! Although a bit pricey, it will definitely last a longer time than the foam and I have so much more use for it now. Definitely a great investment and I recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the foam insert.

Works really well compared to the pick&pluck foam I was using previously. Very configurable. The partitions work well but could be improved upon.
