I have had this bluetooth for a few yrs ..After Many Missed happening on my part , EVEN The Washing machine And dryer a few times !!!..I need to replace my very loved edge ..

I bought this a while ago but left it in my drawer and didn't use it at first. When i found it I put it in, powered it in, and the first thing that came to my mind was airpods. The audio is really good and it actually detects your voice unlike Siri, however I think it could use some more voice commands like "Call (contact". This is a really good headset and you should get it if you don't want airpods. Also don't ever attach the top silicone ring. When I found this, it had the little hoop on the top and I couldn't find the other covers, so now it's pretty uncomfortable, so never put the little hoop on.

Summary: I had this for years with almost daily use. Performance has been rock solid and still holds a charge like the day I bought it. The Pros: - The noise cancellation is good and helps when there is some background noise. - Volume is great. In fact, I typically use this on the lowest volume setting. I barely move it up any higher unless I am in a noise environment (outdoors). - This device is not useful for music. Then again, I don't know why anyone would want to use this for music. This is obviously built for the office worker. Call clarity is great. People hear me better on the other end than when I am using my cell phone's microphone. - Distance between headset and device is great. There have been times where I was easily able to be >30 feet away from the device in my open'ish office environment. Grab tea, use the restroom, stretch my legs, all great enablers to not be tied to my computer. The Cons: - I wish there was a way to keep the headset secured in the charging case. There have been a few times where I put the headset in the case and it pops out slightly. I didn't notice it until I had to make a call and the headset informs me that it has only 2 hours left on it. Oops. I think some sort of sliding mechanism would work better. Ideally, I wish this came with an stretchy type of band that I can around the case with the headset in the cradle. My wife found something like this and it works flawlessly. The additional benefit of doing this means you can clip the case to something and not worry about the headset falling out. (Who would want to do this anyway? This is painting a target on yourself for thieves) - The transition period between turning on the headset and answering the phone is too long. About 2/3 of the time, the device will turn on, tell me how much time I have left on the charge, and then proceed to tell me it is answering the call. This takes like 10 seconds. The other 1/3 of the time, it immediately answers the call when I turn it on. This is my preferred method but I can't figure out how to do this consistently. It seems random. Wants for a future version: - Better interface with the charging case - Way to secure device in the case - BT version 5.0 for low power mode and even longer distances. BTv5 will also help get a full 8 hours of talk time. - Have the device just answer the phone immediately when turning on - Having some water resistance rating would help. I have been in teleconferences in the show/rain while making my way to buildings. This would give more peace of mind.

I have two of these units and use them all the time. I purchased these because I like my Plantronic aircraft headsets. I use the clear plastic pieces that clip onto the unit and go around the ear and need to get some new ones.Please help me get some of them.

Purchased this a few weeks ago and was skeptical because of the way it fits in your ear. I normally don’t like something in my ear. But this design works really well. I’m in construction and it stays put and is comfortable. As far as functionality it’s been working great. Sound is good,people tell me I sound good. So overall so far I’m very happy. I also love the charging case.

I bought this a few weeks ago and love it. People hear me clearer than the 5 or more other bluetooths I’ve had in the past. The only thing is the battery doesn’t last long so I have to recharge it daily.

Bought 4 months ago, it worked wonderful; I'd planned on buying others for our three-adult household. Based on sale price and lifetime, who needs a unit which works for average $30 each month until it decides to no longer work?!? Product has degraded recently to being a very expensive mono earbud. Almost 2 weeks ago, unusual behavior began. (Never dropped or wet.) >> 1. Edge announcements ('talk time' & 'connected') intermittently stopped working when turned on, but worked when pressed Edge's button... SOMETIMES. >> 2. Answered call (by button or phone icon) turns off Bluetooth connection... Unsafe and annoying while driving. >> 3. Starting a few days ago, callers can barely hear my voice, if at all. Yes -- I had reset all, charged all, rebooted all, max'd volumes, inspected mic areas with camera phone, paired & tested with another phone, etc. Yes -- I tried Plantronics Hub app... necessary to get serial #. No -- have not submitted proof of purchase yet (email receipt from vendor) because forwarding an email was not a website option. I already HAD verbally recommended this unit to others in person; now I have to fairly advise them of problems experienced. Note -- multiple stores I checked are discontinuing this model. They must know what I recently learned.

I have trouble with the sensor sometimes; it will transfer to my phone if I move my head the wrong way. Download the app and set up tracking so you never lose it. I disabled the auto sensor and now I have no complaints. This is the best earpiece I have used.

I bought plantronics edge returned it second day thinking I got a faulty one I was thinking no way I paid 169+tax & it keeps dropping calls disconnects frequently on its own & the sensor that tells the device your wearing it doesn’t work all the time horrible product I returned it for a voyager 5200 if that doesn’t work well I’m done with plantronics I do t recommend the edge it sucks & charging case it useless & battery life not so great max 4 hours

This is the second Voyager Edge that I have purchased. It is the only one that I have attempted to replace because after damaging the first one the microphone began to actually work. For some reason, after a short period of use the microphone volume automatically decreases becoming inaudible when calling or using voice features. I thought it was my old phone but as it turns out, the problem persisted when I got my iPhone X. I love the potential of this device and the design of it, but not being able to use it because of the microphone is excruciating.
