Returned.

Did not work as expected with my laptop. The Bluetooth connection may be faulty as the audio made a repeated skipping noise.

I bought this about a week ago. I had a parrot. This is like talking through a tunnel and not being able to hear at all! I will be trying to return today I’m hopes to get my money back!

I bought this yesterday and ofcourse im compairing it to my old Legend (that is 1,5 years old and getting some issues with sound) and has no chance in compeating to its amazing noicecancellation. All noice from surrounding is horrible to my call recipient.

Awesome inside ear earpiece

Thank you Plantronics for creating this wonderful earpiece! From comfort to extra carrying case and great charger, this earpiece has it all. I love using it on days I work 18 hours a day on an event. It holds the charge great, is very comfortable, and I can hear my calls beautifully.

The Sound was poorer than the old model. The sound not loud like the old model even volume up maximum. Disappointed. FYI I used Plantronic more than 6 model in the past.

Wonderful addition to any professional's toolkit

A beautifully crafted, great sounding headset. Works perfectly on my Windows 10 desktop running MobileConnect (version 22.4.0.7.00 for VOIP calls. Using OnePlus 3 running Oxygen OS 5.0.5 (Android 8) for mobile calls. Plantronics hub detected firmware updates right away for the BT600 module (v.1509) and the headset itself (v.345). Excellent connectivity even in an office with loads of other Bluetooth gear.

Unsatisfactory performance. Very disappointed

The earpiece cuts in and out, making it pretty much useless. The only way to stop it from cutting in and out is to mash it into my ear, making it very uncomfortable to use. Having to use one hand to mash it into my ear defeats the purpose of the device being "hands free." I tried replacing the plastic loop piece. It did not help. Maybe, I bought the wrong size. Now, the plastic loop pieces are not available anymore. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Bad sound on both ends

I ordered a similar plantronics headset roughly two years ago, and had the same experience. Because everybody else loved it, I figured it'd be my phone. Now I have a new phone and Loved the fit and the functionality of it, so I gave it a try again. The same problems occured: 1. My conversation partners feel I'm a little distant. They understand me OK but recognize it's a headset. 2. I hear all high frequency noises like breathing, surrounding noises etc. very very loud. I compared directly to my old headset (on the same call) and incoming and outgoing sound was so much better. I compared directly the sound of my conversation partner drawing on his e-cigarette which sounded hardly like taking a breath on the old headset, but like operating a 19th century train engine on the Voyager. My conversation partner gave me the feedback that on the old one, I sounded like I'm regularly on the phone with him, with the Voyager I sound like I'm playing World of Warcraft, or make announcements in an airplane cabin. I moved it forth and back, tried all positions, but it didn't change. Other than that, I love the functions, the comfort (although it takes a while until you can figure out how it doesn't touch ones cheek), the charger, the connectivity, ... but that's worth nothing if the sound is bad. Nobody else experience this? I will need to return the product.

top quality product

The Voyager 3200 UC has served me well over a long period of travel for work My review for this item will be based purely on a Bluetooth headset used while driving As someone who works in radio and who is a bit of audio perfectionist this was my first concern with any headset such as this is of both quality of the speaker set on there and of the microphone I am pleased to report that both performed well in my testing on the road. The microphone provided a good clear quality to the call receiver many commenting that they simply did not know I was not using my phones own inbuilt microphone. While the speaker of the receiving headset is clear and of good quality allowing for you to hear the caller well even in my case over the sound of a loud car and motorway driving. My one major issues with the headset are that it can be tricky to pair with the iPhone in my case but once you have it figured out it becomes a simple task when entering the car for use The headset holds a very good charge with me on average only having to charge it about once a week even under what I would say is heavy use of 4-5 hours a day. The charging cradle is easy to use and charges the headset in a fairly quick time plus points for it being a standard micro USB to charge as this has allowed me to even charge from a battery bank or in the car while on the road for work Overall another high end and high-quality product from Plantronics as we have come to expect and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic sound quality and comfort

I have been using my Voyager 3200 UC for about a month and have been very impressed with it so far. When I took it out of the box I was a little concerned as to how it would stay in my ear as I hadn't used one that didn't have a "ear bud" type ear plug before. I then saw the included attachment that clips on and goes over the ear. With this attached I had no issue with it staying put and the entire setup is so light that I have on multiple occasions nearly forgot I was wearing it. The sound quality is great and I have yet to experience any issue where the sound quality wasn't consistent and clear. The connection to Bluetooth on my iPhone was simple and I was prompted to install the Plantronics hub to update the firmware again without any issue. The multiple microphone setup seems to really cut down on wind noise when used outside. I stepped outside on a windy day while on a call which in the past would have been met with the wind amplified in my ear and over the call. I didn't notice anything but still out of habit appoligized as I had just walked outside. The person on the other side said they heard very little wind noise at all. Overall a great product, easy to use, and I have really enjoyed everything about the Voyager 3200 so far.

Not quite the PLT Voyager Edge when new, but good

I use my headset while driving and talk on it several hours per day. I feel in love with Plantronics with the Voyager Edge and it worked great until about 2 years of use. The 3200 is awesome, but the old button configuration was much better on the edge. Otherwise, sound quality and clarity is the same. Battery life is very good, especially for such a small headset. Much better than my old Jawbone and I like it better than the Plantronics 5200.

Excellent Headset

My job requires me to spend a lot of time on skype via the computer, and historically i've been tethered to the computer to do this. This product helps free me from my desk. The computer recognised the bluetooth dongle really quickly, and the headset paired to the computer with ease and instantly allowed me to make my skype call. I've not tried all the features yet, but what was important to me was: 1. Sound quality, both for myself and the person that I was speaking to. 2. Comfort - particularly as I typically spent 2-3 hours a day on the phone. This product excelled in both areas. The sound quality was very good - for both myself and the receipient of the call. And importantly after 3.5hrs on the phone the earpiece still felt comfortable. Overall, very impressed with the headset and would recommend it to anyone that wants to free themselves from their desk!

A beautifully made piece of kit

The 3200 UC is a very well-made little headset. It is so light and well-designed that my concerns about a secure fit were quickly dispelled. (I am used to a loop going over my ear. Supremely easy to use and featuring crystal-clear audio, it is a very useful addition to my daily kit list. The only issue I have found is that the microphone stem can occasionally touch my cheek, causing noise. Takes just a moment to adjust it away from my face, however. I find it very helpful to know how much charge is left from the LED's on the charging case. Very useful to be able to charge the device directly as well.

Extremely good range, awkward fit

I cannot emphasize enough the range on this device. If you work from home then you'll find that you can walk around your entire house without an issue. The range also means that the typical things that might cause Bluetooth to cut off such as a wall or a pant's pocket is not an issue for this device. You might think this device is Bluetooth 5 because of the range (but it's still Bluetooth 4.1) The look of the device is... okay. It looks very professional, but it certainly isn't "stylish". If you care a lot about how you look in public then you may need to use this just for the office or home. Bluetooth headsets have come a long way since the early 2000's and the newest offerings from Plantronics are much more classy, but they still aren't fashionable. The battery case for the headset is a neat little brick that could be used for a belt loop (but you'll probably just have it standing up on your desk). There's a little USB-A plug that is discreetly stored in the bottom of the case that's meant for anyone who needs a USB device for Bluetooth peripherals. It may be USB-A, but if you have a newer computer with USB C then a USB-C to USB-A adapter works fine with it. The spring mechanism to put the plug in and out is neat, but the plastic covering is flimsy at best and is reminiscent of all of those very bad plastic coverings for the ports on cameras. The ability to pop the headset in and out of the case quickly is nice, but the micro-usb port on the headset itself means you don't always need to use the case. The noise-cancelling is excellent and it is exactly what you would expect from Plantronics. Call quality is simply the best in the industry. That's all there is to say about that. The device is lightweight enough that you can wear it all day, but it weighs just enough that you won't forget that it is in your ear. The headset came with several rubber earplugs with loops and they fit reasonably well. You can go jogging with the headset on without worrying about the device falling out. There is also a plastic loop that is included with the headset that is meant to snap on to the earplug and give you more stability and a tighter grip around the entire ear. I found that hard plastic to be completely uncomfortable to the point of being unusable. It is a neat idea to have this add-on to emulate other headsets that do loop around the entire ear, but this was badly executed. Overall, this headset is perfect for the office, especially if you're someone who likes to walk and talk without the worry that your headset will disconnect from your phone.

Handy bluetooth earpiece for office work

I've never had a blue tooth mono headset (even when they were popular a few years ago) and normally use a bluetooth set of headphones with a mic. I didn't think I'd use the Voyager 3200 UC anywhere near as much as I have been, but it's build, features and battery life have made it an ideal companion for use at work. As opposed to a pair of headphones, I can leave the earpiece in and be able to hear other conversations going on. Being lightweight it's comfortable to wear for hours at a time, I often forgot I had it in until a call arrived! Build: Light weight, comes with a number sizes of soft rubber earpieces and a plastic around the ear clip for security. Can feel a bit loose although I've never had an issue with it falling out or not being able to hear properly. Buttons are a little on the small side and fiddly at first although you quickly get used to their positions and use becomes second nature. The ear piece comes with a handy carry case that doubles as a charger (more on that later) and a blue tooth dongle that, when plugged in to a PC or Mac, automatically configures the blue tooth settings - super helpful! Features: Connects to my phones assistant easily meaning I can make calls without having to open the phone itself. Has a handy feature where, when on a conf call and on mute, it will tell you so if you start speaking - saves you talking to yourself! Noise cancelling helps with call quality at the other end and I had no issues hearing even in noisy environments. The carry case has a dongle that, when plugged in to a computer (Mac or PC) that automatically configures everything for you. The carry case also has handy charge remaining lights for both itself and the earpiece. Battery: Designed to last a whole day, the earpiece comes with a charging case that you can plug it into to keep it topped up. I've use it from 9 - 6 every day for 2 - 6 hours a day and haven't had it run out on me yet. In Summary: A lightweight device, can be easily switched to other devices, high-quality audio and mics, good battery life when combined with the charging case, mute alerts can be helpful in quieter settings.

Quality communications device!

The Voyager 3200 UC is a great piece of kit with excellent sound quality. It's a nice compact unit which means it's easy to transport between work and home. The portable charging case keeps it protected while you're on the move, I especially like the compartment to keep the USB bluetooth adapter safe. Amazingly simple to set up, just plug the USB adapter into your computer and switch the headset on for it to automatically pair, the same goes for your phone but without the need for the USB adapter. Making calls is easy and with the option to use Google Now for voice commands I can do it without touching my phone. The sound quality of the call is excellent with voices coming through crisply and the caller has had no problems hearing me on the other end with the discreet microphones doing the job well. I've found the mute button a handy feature to use while I'm at work. I'm also using it for listening to music and podcasts while I'm working, it handles both of these well and the sound always comes through clearly. The sensors work great, both pausing and resuming my music and podcasts when I take the headset off and put it back on. The Plantronics Hub app helped to set it up as I wanted and looking for firmware updates. The How Do I? section of the app explains many more of the features that I am yet to use but it is packed full of useful tips.. All in all I've been really impressed by the build, sound quality and features of this headset. Definitely worth the five stars!

Excellent Quality

I have tested this earpiece for over a week now. The best part of this tiny gadget was the quality of the sound. Normally, you don't expect high quality sound when you see something this small, but it was beyond what I expected. Obviously, you won't get studio grade sound, but you wouldn't purchase this for that type of purpose. Pairing the device was quick and easy. The first device I paired was my iPhone 7 Plus. I also paired my PC using the included USB Bluetooth adapter. The audio messages saying that a phone and PC are connected makes it easy to ensure that they were connected. The messages also include talk time when the device is turned on. The talk time is rated at 6 hours, with the portable charger giving an extra 10 hours. I didn't directly measure how long it lasted, but I was constantly making calls on my computer or on my phone. It lasted long enough to keep calls going for several hours. It also didn't drain my phone battery as much as other Bluetooth devices do sometimes. A tip to keep in mind is to have it charging on the portable charger when you can to keep its battery high. The audio quality is superb. Calls are crystal clear. While the main purpose of the device is for calls, I also tested it with music. The bass obviously isn't strong which makes sense, but the mids and highs are evident. While testing the device on a PC with music playing, I also made calls and played games to see how the audio would turn on. The sound became muddled quite a bit, but it wasn’t enough to affect my ability to understand the other person, enjoy the music, or hear the game's audio. In conclusion, the Voyager 3200 UC is an excellent product for users who need a high-quality earpiece for calls on-the-go with their phone or on their computer.

Great call quality

I have been using the Voyager 3200 UC for a week and I can say that it does exactly what it says on the tin. Easy to connect with comfortable fit (once you find the right ear tip size) and good sound quality. I was slightly disappointed with the paint finish around the power button area since it chipped after a day of use but overall is good headset.

Great Little Device

I have had the Voyager 3200 UC now for a week. Initially, I found the earpiece not to fit my ear comfortably. However, the Voyager 3200 UC comes with a range of differing sized earpieces, which I swapped out. I have found it comfortable and after a while I was not even aware I was wearing it. Once paired with my iPhone 8, it pairs up straight away no fuss each time I switched it on. You encounter an audio message detailing you are connected, to which device (PC or phone) and for how long talk time you have left. Receiving calls are both efficient and amusing: Call comes in, the audio from Voyager 3200 UC requests from you to either accept or reject the call. If the caller is on your contact list, it will announce them. When my wife called, it stated her name clearly. When my parents called, down as Mum & Dad in my contacts, the whisper was announced as "mmmmm" which I found funny. So a little hit or miss. As mentioned earlier, the Voyager 3200 UC connects to your PC which picks up all audio, from Skype calls to watching video or listening to audio. This comes in the shape of Bluetooth device, secured in the charging docking which comes with the earpiece. When not taking calls I have actually used it to listen to Spotify. A call comes in and cuts out the audio to manage the call. The audio is crystal clear, both hearing and the sound of my voice on the other end. Naturally, when out and about, if you encounter a little breeze, that gets picked up and can distort the audio. The range of the Voyager 3200 UC from my phone is quite generous. I work in a rather large office and have left my phone on my desk and walked some distance away and still no connection distortion. It has proven to be quite a useful device and have only given it four stars due to the hit or miss of the announced calls.

Best-sounding Bluetooth on the market!

My common issue in the past 10+ years with using Bluetooth earpieces is that I'm always told I sound far away or "in a tunnel", no matter which I buy. Being a long-time Plantronics customer, and seeing the reviews online for the Voyager 3200 UC, I decided to take the plunge and try it (I was already sold on the fact it has a charging carrying case, and able to use it with my laptop via USB for VoIP, so I didn't need that much convincing). I made my usual flurry of calls whenever I buy a Bluetooth, and ask my friends / colleagues "how do I sound?". To my surprise, no one knew I was using a Bluetooth, and didn't believe when I told I them I was! I am in love. I'm probably never going to buy another earpiece again.

Great light-weight headset

Got this headset about a month ago and hardly ever take it off. I sometime wear it to bed and listen to music to put me to sleep. Every time I did this the next day it still worked like a charm. Sometimes I forget I have it on. Great earpiece.

My new Go To Bluetooth Headset.

I have owned many bluetooth headsets with several of those being the Plantronics brand. 3 of those being the behind the ear Legend style. I never thought that I'd like the Voyager style due to the little ear gel thing that goes in your ear. I was pleasantly surprised that the size ear gel that came on it fit my ear perfectly and no once tried to fall out. It also comes with a thin ear loop that goes around your ear to offer more security but, this headset is so light (surprising) that it stays put just fine. One huge benefit of the headset fitting in your ear and not requiring a bulky piece behind your ear is if you wear glasses. This makes things so much nicer now and I think this style is all I will ever buy in the future. This particular version of the Voyager comes with the UC USB adapter which allows your computer/laptop to wirelessly connect to your Voyager 3200 and provides you with greater range so that you can easily walk around the room or even walk down the hall which taking a call. This headset works with all of the VOIP programs and a lot of them I had never heard of. All of these programs can be seen on a page when you install the Plantronics Hub program on your computer. In the past this program allowed you to change several settings on your headset but, with these latest headsets you can actually install the Plantronics Hub app on your Android and IOS devices and do a firmware update on your headset using bluetooth alone. This is great since many people are so into their phone's and tablets and don't even have Windows based computers. One of my favorite features of this headset is the new and improved noise cancelling. I work around large diesel trucks occasionally and even when standing close to a truck the person on the other end can barely hear the truck's engine running which is pretty impressive since I can easily hear it. Another thing I like with this headset is it's range. The quoted specs say that the Class 1 bluetooth is supposed to deliver 100 ft. which it comes close to when using the UC adapter but, when using my phone it doesn't offer quite that range since my phone doesn't likely have a Class 1 transmitter. The range is still better than any regular sized bluetooth headset I have ever tried. I really like to listen to streaming audio (iHeart mainly) and I can leave my phone on the dash of a truck and walk all around the truck and still keep a good connection and hear the audio clearly. This headset also comes with a charging case that you can use to charge up your Voyager several times before it will need recharging itself via a regular Micro USB cord. I also love that Plantronics has brought back charging your headset with the simple Micro USB cable instead of the proprietary only cord so no need in taking a special cable with you if you want to charge the headset directly. This headset has a separate button you use just to interact with Siri or Google voice commands. The only improvement I would like to see Plantronics do would be to make it so that when you tap the button one time it activates Siri or Google instantly. The way it's currently done is that you have to hold the button for 3 seconds for it to activate those services. When I first received the headset I thought that the Call button was broken since it didn't activate those services and then I did some reading and realized that it had it's own separate button for that. All in all, I'd say that Plantronics has hit this one out of the park and this is my new favorite bluetooth headset hand's down.

Very lightweight and comfortable

I have used the Voyager Legend UC for years and really enjoyed being able to connect to my phone and computer for Skype calls. This new device has the same great capabilities and is in a super lightweight package that does not pull on the ear like the Legend did. Great battery life and getting the app on my phone to see updates, battery life, and the find feature are terrific. I mostly use it on my Surface Pro and will see in the future if the bluetooth connection is as good as the BT600 or substitute for when out of the office. The only knock I have is the carrying package is quite a bit different and does not really protect the headset like the Voyager case did.

Very Good Headset

By Steve H.

I got the Voyager 3200 UC several weeks ago after extensive research online. There were multiple favorable reviews of this headset and its predecessor, the Voyager Edge. On phone calls, people at the other end describe the sound quality as excellent. On my end, I would describe it as good. I thought my old non-Plantronics Bluetooth headset had good sound in both directions, but in a back-and-forth test on a phone call, the person at the other end and I both found the 3200 UC sounded much bet...
