all of the sudden my headpiece wont allow me to answer a call or end a call by pressing the button on the earpiece. only way to answer a call is to sit at my desk and press the button on the answer or end call button on my computer.

My company purchased this for me as Plantronics usually has a good rep for quality. sadly the savi 445 falls short. From the day I received the headset there have been loud crackles that came from the earpiece when people talked to me. I had thought that this was just a volume level issue. but after turning it down to below half way I could see that it was not. I then troubleshot plugging it into other computers as well as trying diff headsets on my computer. No other headsets displayed this problem. So what I can get from it is that it's the headset itself. Pros: Light, Mic quality is apparently great (from peers) Cons: headset uncomfortable on my ear ( tried the diff adapters - all horrendous ), distance is about 40 feet (terrible for a dect headset - my bluetooth plantronics gets further and sounds better) , battery life is about 2 hours constant use ( thank goodness for the replacement batt). Do your self a favor, just get a bluetooth plantronics Edge (if they are still available) and hook it up to the bluetooth on your laptop or your cell phone. less headaches, lighter, sounds better.

poor sound quality : no stereo... only mono too hot for the ears battery life is ok

I love this headset, I am on my 3rd dongle in 1.5 years. I purchased a new one and have had no luck pairing with the headset. Customer service attempted to help me out but they were unable to troubleshoot.
