Such clarity and long lasting battery. Topped off with a second battery that can be hot swapped in a moment without dropping the call. Haven't had to use 2nd battery yet but great knowing it is there. Absolutely love the multiple wearing options so each user could select what works for them. I would only recommend that Plantronics allow loyal customers to purchase the base revision and headset at reduced cost since those haven't changed. Most excellent product!

We've ordered number of Savi 740 for one of our business areas. Overall good experience, except for few niggling issues: - charging port gets damaged to the point it's not able to charge the headset - unfortunately our headsets were started to be used and reported on over a year from the initial purchase so no warranty covered replacement! - design of the mute button is not great - integrated volume up/down and mute button feels fiddly and often gets stuck in the in position when operated. I would not recommend this model for busy call centre - perhaps a better design on the 710 or 720...

I jumped on to confirm the P/N to replace my third set of batteries in ten years. Over this decade, this has been an everyday use for me. I work from home and spend 30%+ of my day on the phone. Prior to this, I tried countless combinations of things to find something that worked. This solved a previous decade old problem for me - be mobile around the house, connect to multiple devices, and not have to retire it to the charger when the battery dies. I am free to roam when I talk with great range to be anywhere in my large three story house (base on second level. My only restriction is out back, but it's going through floors and walls and stucco, so that's not a surprise. Years ago, I had a custom molded ear piece made for it so it sits comfortably in my ear and I often forget that it's there. I highly recommend this if you wear it for hours at a time or put it on and take it off often. There is one interesting side effect that I've noticed. The microphone is so sensitive that over the years of talking on it all through the day, I've started to struggle with modulating my voice when I speak face to face with people. I guess that with the microphone, I have been in the habit of speaking so softly that I don't know what loud is anymore.

Expensive for what you get. I'm on my second Savi 730. They start off comfortable, but the rubber on them seems to be intentionally made to last only a certain amount of time before it just falls apart. Planned Obsolescence I think is what you would call it. I won't buy another plantronics headset, my experiences have left me questioning the company's ethics.

I use this headset for my office so I decided to get one for home also and.....WOW! It's a perfect fit. I can move around the house move from computer to cell no prob love it 100%

Have had this headset for nearly a year. Have gone through other wired Plantronics, Other Brands, Gaming Headsets and more in search of what I deem is the "perfect" headset. Had to be light, wireless, I was tired of Bluetooth as with iMacs as my call centre machine not the greatest sound... and did not want a wired headset. The SAVI 745 filled the bill. Feather light... DECT connectivity allows me to wander around the office and with clarity and security. Additionally with the HOT SWAP capability for the batteries... it runs non-stop. OK.. so NOTHING is perfect. I have a big head... and the 3 different configurations for over the ear, behind the head or traditional headband are problematic. I would love to use the over the ear, but do not like the hard plastic loop and none of the 3 included fit me well. So use the Behind the Head band. That issue notwithstanding, this is a great headset and I firmly and unreservedly recommend it.

I have been using Plantronics products for 15+ years, starting with the CS50 Wireless headset and have consistently upgraded to the latest greatest wireless headset as soon as Plantronics releases them. I would rate the wearing comfort and usability as the best in the industry and given that I spend 8+ hours a day on the phone the spare battery is a lifesaver. My only pain is the distance on the DECT 6.0 in my busy office environment. I am limited to 40 feet of travel before people complain that they cant hear me but I can hear them just fine. I have tried Jabra's and Sennheisers and they go the distance - 200+ feet, but are in now way as comfortable or easy to use. I have replaced batteries, spent countless hours with support, swapped units and even done a bit of praying - all to no avail. Please Plantronics fix the DECT distance issues so I can become a fan once again.

Hi, I handle our company's wireless headsets and this works great for us especially the one with extra battery charging. I use it to move around while talking no issue. I haven't heard much complaints from our VIP users. but it's a equipment for work but entertainment. If reliability is what you look for, this is good.

I would definitely not purchase one of these. When it worked (which lasted about an hour) it was great, then it has been defective and nonfunctional ever since. Unbelievable.

In almost one year of normal use, for the 2nd time the charging cradle pin has gone inside & stuck. (1st instance was within a week of use) As a result I can't hang up call by simply putting the headset down and move to the next call. Have to power cycle each time after a call. Very poor design for charging. The charging design needs to be changed.. protruding & flimsy pins needs to be some kind of solid pin and needs to be of better quality

Over the course of the months I've had this headset, it has become increasingly unusable. Callers are now nearly unintelligible through the gaps and static and muffling. The base phone is still fine, both through the handset and the speaker. Others have had the same problem. I regret the purchase.

I'm on my 2nd one at work (the first one died after a number of years, so we bought a replacement, and I have a used one (from eBay) that I use at home. Most comfortable headset I've ever used, and I've used a lot (mostly Plantronics). My only issue is that it has problems working with Cisco IP Communicator. Works fine in set up and testing, but when it comes to making or receiving a call, it won't connect or disconnects. The "Sound" options on my Windows PC has a hard time identifying it as a headset - just as speakers, yet it still works flawlessly for phone and Skype, just not Cisco.

Hello, We've just received Savi W720. We conncected it to our land line phones and it works great. We can call and walk around the office with no problem. However, when connecting to iPhone X via bluetooth, the sound is terrible. Any ida what we can do about that?

Certainly not a plug and play. The VVX phone wont keep settings. The Headset just drops out. Our Phone service provider does "not support" headsets. Tried the standard items restarting phone and headset. To no avail. Was planning on asking owner to outfit 25+ phones with these headsets.

I am now getting my third W745 and I hope it works properly. The first two units I had both had a problem with the audio volume and reception on the earpiece fading to zero after about 10 minutes of normal use.

We have a large deployment of Savi with a mix of Monaural and Binaural users. This mix means binaural users have to carry around a cradle to interchange with the standard base - the interface has two pins which unless the user is careful can be easily bent or broken which at best means a support call at worst unaware users may order a replacement.

We have been using the Savi 720 headset and had so far been very happy with the item. However, it does not work properly now. We can no longer answer a call just by pressing the button on the headset. Although this is a wireless headset, we now have to sit at our computer screen to be able to answer a call. VERY ANNOYING!

All functionality is great other than audio quality from the computer. Music is extremely muffled and low quality. When I chatted with support they simply said "it's not designed for that", however my last USB headset (single ear Jabra) produced crystal clear music audio quality. A shame, really.
