Could be better build quality

Like another reviewer also confirmed : the leatherette is not very lasting and also the cable is not the quality you expect from this expensive product. After 1 year, the cable already shows wear and in 1 location it's punctured.

Good sound, poor fit for larger heads

Replaced my C420 after 4 years. Assumed the C520 would fit similarly. I have a fairly large head and ear pieces barely reach my ear at full extension. Also the microphone rubs against my cheek causing annoying noises unless I position above my cheekbone. So I would have to say I am disappointed.

Great sound, small fit, awkward microphone place

I like sound from Blackwire 500 headset but I am unable to work with them for periods longer than 30 minutes due to headband, with minimal padding, sitting uncomfortably on my head with both sides of headset extended to maximum. I cannot move entire headset higher up as it would mean that speakers sit on the upper and middle part of my ears. Another part of the design I find annoying is the microphone. It is located between headband and outside of the earpiece and in standard position when lowered it touches my cheek which would result in scratching noise if not adjusted. Once I adjust it to be further away, I cannot fold it back to vertical position without adjusting again as otherwise it would hit headband plastic This is minor inconvenience and might not be a bother for all users. I consider quality of used materials as very good.

I bought primarily for Skype calls and this is an excellent fit. Sound is crystal clear and background noise suppression is excellent. can tailor the amount of suppression on the mic. If you want quality stereo headphones for music, get one purpose built for that. People, realize that most headsets for phone calls are tuned to enhance mid-range frequencies - not for music.
