Well protected laptop. Very heavy case.

Bottom line it's well made but you won't be walking far with this thing. I'm never worried about the laptop being damaged but I never consider taking this on a hike.

Great backpack

It is an excellent backpack for my Lenovo laptop. Fits like a glove, and will come in handy with my spring time volunteer job doing taxes. Well made it has ample storage for other items.

Great Bag

I got this bag as a gift and love it so far! The bag is sturdy, yet still comfortable to wear. I packed it for a week long trip I'm going on and it fits quite a lot inside the main compartment. It seems to be built exceptionally well! My 13inch MacBook Pro fits just fine (small pads are sent to be placed and ensure laptops don't move about). Last trip I went on, before having this bag, the airlines shattered my laptop screen. I feel way better about traveling with this bag as protection.

The Pelican S100 Elite Backpack incorporates the same Pelican-tough DNA found in Pelican's military-grade products. The integrated crushproof Pelican case in the S100 features the same military-grade attributes as in classic Pelican cases, including a watertight o-ring seal with automatic pressure equalization valve.
