I bought this bag to carry two light stands, a tripod, and reflector arm. It all fits. Thus the job is done. It's not a pretty fit. It just fits. I can carry all that in one bag which is what I wanted. The bag is just one big opening. There are no straps to hold down you equipment and nothing else special about it. The material seems pretty good and strong. The zippers (which as we all know can be awful) are of good quality. The pockets on the outside are useful for smaller thing that you might want to carry. Like I said it's just a bag that will help you carry your equipment around without and bells and whistles.

This is the best tripod and lightstand bag I have used. I have wasted plenty of money on others that had limited or no padding and the Zipper broke on the first use. This bag has heavy duty zippers and plenty of padding. It is perfect for the way I work - always on the go and they go with me. Outside pockets are a nice added perk.

This tripod bag is the best I have seen. I have a "mobile" animal/pet photography service and it allows me to carry all my lightstands, tripod, and several other items in one bag. The multiple outside zippered pockets are a boon for many smaller items, plus they are actually large enough to be beneficial. Unlike some bags that have pockets so small you do well to fit a lens cap inside, these pockets are BIG! There is adequate padding to help prevent scrapes, breaks, and other damage to equipment too. The bag is well-designed, lightweight, and sturdily built. I don't have any complaints about it whatsoever. The carrying strap is adjustable and wide enough to hold the bag over your shoulder comfortably. All-in-all, the Pelican 48" Tripod/Lightstand bag is a real deal, a bargain for the price, and I highly recommend it.

The best case for the cost.... if your looking for a case that can a light or medium weight tripod, a couple of light stands, umbrella and a couple of accessories, this is the one. At least it was long enough especially for a couple of Manfrodo stands and the case made it easy to callr all at once if you are going solo to the job.

I am a videographer and artist so I have a variety of tripods for different styles of cameras, and lots of tripod accessories. This is my second pelican case (38" wasn't quite long enough)because my largest tripod is an old Manfrotto that needs lots of room and this fits perfectly. I even have room for an extra spare head! It is sturdier than most cases I've seen, the padding is great, and the 3 padded outside pockets are perfect for carrying anything from tools to clamps, extra panhandles, to adapter plate. Most cases don't have outside pockets, never the less padded pockets. The only improvement I would ask for is a way to put locks on the zippers for air travel and a padded shoulder strap would be nice. I also had to add my own velcro strap to hold the two straps together for easier carrying. Now if I could only find the right case for my dolly!

Can easily haul three large light stands plus three umbrellas with room to spare. If you tend to take a little more than you need on location, this is the bag for you. Quality is great too!

It's so cheap, yet it's so durable and it's even padded. Holds a lot of 48" long stands.
