Best Cases period

Typical Pelican, top quality at a great price. I don't use ANY other type case for my cameras or my rifles or anything of value that needs to be kept dust free, safe and dry. And it is as rugged as a steel anvil.

Disappointed with a Pelican customer service.

This appears to be a well made case. My only issue so far is that they suddenly decided to not reinforce the padlock holes with stainless steel and didn?t bother to tell anyone. It is still advertised that way by suppliers and shown in the advertised pictures. I went to trouble to exchange my case by mail and got the same again. I tried to contact Pelican and made several calls and got routed around through their phone system and got no where with emails before being told they decided (without explanation) not to do that anymore and they would not send me the steel parts. I spent so much time on this only to be disappointed in the end. All I can say is I hope the plastic doesn?t crack from the stress of the padlocks.

Built like a Tank!

This thing is built like a tank! It is very substatntial for being made of plastic. The clamps are strong and should travel very well. I will be using it to transport my rifles when I fly to other states. Best rifle case I've ever bought. The price was half list so it was a bargain!

Jam it in.

OK, seems good quality but does flex a little bit if you have a lot jammed into the case between the foam padding. I had a small open cardboard boxe for ammo as well as a shoty and two hand guns so it needed some force to close tight. It is not meant to hold any cardboard boxes but it worked.
