The ProMediaGear 60mm (2.5 inches) Long quick release bracket clamp is compatible with BBS and BBG model flash brackets, as well as all Arca-Swiss style plates or L-Brackets. The design of this system allows the flash brackets to be mounted to plates such as Kirk, Really Right Stuff, Markins and most other 1.5 inch Arca-Swiss style plates. The removal of the flash bracket from the camera is as simple as turning the knob.
The bracket clamp has hard black anodized surface coating with wear resistant finish. The 1/4"-20 mounting thread included is cut in steel, this ensures that threads will remain in good condition almost indefinitely, as opposed to all other designs that have threads cut directly in the aluminum body of the clamp, rending it useless once the threads wear out in the aluminum. It also allows you to upgrade to a different thread if you happen to change your tripod (inserts are available directly from ProMediaGear in all sizes), no need to buy a new clamp.
