The ProMediaGear PX3 Universal Plate 3 inch Long fits DSLR Cameras Canon, Nikon, Sony, Leica, Panasonic, etc. Will also fit Video Cameras and Lenses  The quick release plate offers exceptional fit and security. It features removable strap loops that can be also relocated to other side if desired. The loop is mounted via stainless steel screw that also acts as a safety stop it also can be moved (if you prefer to load the camera from left side) or you can add second screw. This would make your plate top mountable only but would prevent the camera from sliding out in either direction. The PX3 also features aircraft grade aluminum construction and is Arca-compatible.

Very high quality part.  Purchased mainly for the strap connection at each end.  Part was just as described.  Item was lost in the mail but a quick phone call to Adorama customer service solved the problem with super speed and efficiently.  We had a replacement part the very next day !  Excellent folks to do business with.

This universal plate is exactly what I needed!  For years I've been using Arca-Swiss plates specifically designed for my cameras with an ADDITIONAL 1/4" x 20 threaded hole so that I could attach a shoulder strap.  I just purchased a Panasonic G9 and I could not find anyone who manufactured an Arca-Swiss plate for this camera.

I have a portrait studio and although I generally shoot from a tripod, sometimes I want to shoot using my camera strap affixed to the 1/4" x 20 threaded hole. With this plate I can keep it attached to the camera body for tripod work and still have the convenience of doing off tripod work by simply screwing the bolt from the strap into the threaded hole in the plate.

Oh, and the rubber pieces on the bottom of the plate compress to make a very tight connection to the camera body.  Kudos to Pro Media gear!

THE PERFECT ARCA-SWISS SOLUTION!

Good product, but with issues. I've ordered two and only one had that steel loop. Both had different screwed for holding that loop. But these are minor issues so only one star down. Otherwise it's a very good product.

Great but don't rush production.

Product was exactly how it was described in the specs. Fits snugly against my battery grip with the help of two rubber rails that run the length. Fits nicely into my tripod. I have a Black Rapid strap, there are three quarter inch threaded holes. It is Annie's to switch from the tripod to the strap.

Impressed with the product and the build quality.

Well-designed and built. Secures a heavy 200 - 500mm zoom and camera to an existing Arca-Swiss base securely.

Versitile

You would thiknk it a simple review... But, this thing is well made and beautifully finished. It fits into all my Arca style sockets with no wiggling or fudging. After clamping it is stable and cannot be moved. It comes with everything needed to properly install and utilize it. Most Highly recommended.

It's just a milled piece of aluminum

This is a well made plate with "side-shift" adjustment, which most plates lack.

The Overview description denoting removable Strap-loops is erroneous; as the loops on this model are integral to the machined plat.

The PBX3, PX3R, & PX3B plates do have removable loops.
