The Pearl Microphone Lab CB22 Figure-of-8 Condenser Pink Microphone is a FET condenser microphone with Pearl's Model 2800 rectangular dual-diaphragm capsule, configured for a figure-of-8 pickup pattern. The Model 2800 capsule uses a thin polyester diaphragm measuring 14x29mm, on a 17x35mm rectangular frame. Although the mic's advertised frequency response is 20Hz-25kHz, the -3dB points are closer to 45Hz and 14kHz. The microphone name is engraved into the body, and painted pink to distinguish the CB22. The CB22 can be paired with the cardioid CC22 for Mid-Side stereo applications or with a second CB22 for Blumlein recording. The mic ships in a padded aluminum flight case (p/n AC01).
