I think PNY has the right idea with this product. Who doesn't want more storage for either backing up or cleaning up your iPad? The reason I purchased this was to use it to move images captured with another device to the iPad. 

The problem is that, unlike Android or Microsoft, this thumb drive doesn't exactly work that way.  Yes, you can store photos and videos on it.  But you can only move images from the iPad to the thumb drive and not vice versa. The app feels like it is half complete.  I really want to be able to move images in both directions rather than for backing up my iPad images. I have several cloud service accounts for that.  I own an iPad Pro and would love to be able to use it for my quick edits but in order to do so, I have to load the images in one of my cloud accounts and then download them to the iPad. I had hoped this product would allow me to skip that step.  Unfortunately, it falls short.

The bottom line is this, buy this product if you do not have a cloud service account and want to back up your images.
