PNY CS900 SSD
Replaced a laptop hdd drive with the cs900 ssd. The PNY drive drive cloned easily and dramatically improve the laptop boot and operating speed. Very cost effective ssd.

Great internal or external drive
Working just fine. Because of the way it is constructed, it can be used (with an adapter cable) as an external drive; and that is the way I am using it.

Excellent Replacement Drive for Older Laptop
I purchased this 500GB PNY CS900 SSD to replace a failing HDD in an older Dell laptop. I was impressed with the performance boost this drive gave the laptop. What was once a doggy computer is now a pleasure to use.

Good extra ssd
The PNY CS900 is a great little ssd for the price. While I wouldn't recommend it as a boot drive due to the lack of a dram cache, it makes for good, cheap extra storage.

budget-friendly
I purchased the PNY CS900 250 GB solid state drive as an upgrade for my aging laptop and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The installation process was a breeze and the drive fit seamlessly into my 2.5-inch bay.
After booting up my laptop with the new drive, I immediately noticed a significant increase in performance. Programs and files load much faster, and my overall system feels much snappier. The SATA 6 Gb/s interface provides fast data transfer speeds that are great for everyday use, as well as for video editing and gaming.
One of the things that I love most about this drive is its energy efficiency. It runs cool and quiet, and I've noticed a decrease in power consumption since installing it.
I have been using it for a while and it's been reliable, I haven't experienced any problems with it. PNY 250GB SSD - Improved Performance/Reliability - Worth The Investment
This PNY 250GB SSD has read/write speeds of 535/500MB/s. It was installed in an older notebook computer, replacing a mechanical disk drive. The performance improvement and increased reliability has been worth the investment. Note: If your computer has an M.2 slot you should consider installing the faster M.2 SSD form factor drive instead of any 2.5" device.
