This is a fantastic deal. My old battery cover was chewed up (hint, a nickle fits better than a quarter) and needed to be replaced along with the battery. This set gets you a new cover, a new battery, and a new rubber gasket. There's even an extra gasket included if you have a model that needs it (mine didn't). Replacing all of that is the way to go, especially since it doesn't cost much more than the battery alone if you get it at Radio Shack. If all you need is the battery, and you can wait for it to arrive from China, then you can do fine bidding on an auction, but if you want to be sure that your seal is water tight, definitely do this.
