I haven't had one of these fail on my yet. I've shot several indoor and outdoor modeling sessions, plus a wedding with them. I bought a spare but haven't needed it yet. Very consistent color, several thousand shots, no problems.

Solid Light

Great Replacement bulb. Looks better than the one my kit came with originally. I am using it in my Smith victor flash kit. I'm going to have to buy a few of these seance local shops don't carry anything in this bulb style.
