These eggcrate grids are very economically priced. They are not made of fabric; it's more like a stiff pellon-type material. I don't know how well they would hold up if you were constantly taking them in and out of your softbox. But if you put them in and leave them in like I did, they are fine. They are a little big for the softbox, but you just have to scrunch them a bit in the corners to make them fit. For the money they are great.
