The kit includes the ION Inverter System, complete with a battery, and a PL1250DRC AC monolight with a reflector. This compact yet powerful system weighs only 3.5 lbs, including its battery, and measures a mere 7.5 x 4.4 x 3.3 inches. Despite its size, it can deliver hundreds or even thousands of full-power flashes, depending on the flash head in use.
The included PL1250DRC PowerLight features a color-corrected flash tube and offers a 500W/s output, variable over six stops in 1/10 stop increments. It also includes a 250W modeling lamp. The PowerLight is equipped with a PL7R High-Gain Reflector and is compatible with the full range of Photogenic flash head accessories.
The kit also includes a 45" black/white Eclipse umbrella, designed to eliminate reflection of the metal spokes in your subject's eyes. The umbrella's black cover is removable, allowing for shoot-through mode. A sturdy 8.0' light stand and a Multi-Clamp for hanging the inverter are also part of the package, ensuring a complete, ready-to-use lighting solution.
With a fully charged battery, the PL1250DRC delivers an impressive 500 full-power flashes with a recycling time of just 3.8 seconds. For extended shooting sessions, additional batteries can be purchased and charged separately from the inverter.
