Photogenic ION Inverter with StudioMax 320W/s Flash Head and Umbrella Kit

The Photogenic ION Inverter with StudioMax 320W/s Flash Head and Umbrella Kit is an ideal way to bring the benefits of studio lighting into the field independent of AC power. The kit includes an ION Inverter System with battery, an AKC320 320W/s AC monolight with reflector, an 8.0' light stand and a 45" black/white Eclipse umbrella.

The ION Lithium-ion Pure Sine Wave Inverter System allows you to take your studio strobes on the road or off the road without electricity and without noisy generators or bulky old-style inverters. Weighing in at only 3.5 lb including its battery, the Ion measures only 7.5 x 4.4 x 3.3" but is able to deliver hundreds or even thousands of full power flashes depending on the flash head in use. With a fully charged battery the included AKC320 will get an impressive 1,200 full power flashes with a recycling time of 2.8 seconds. Of course, you can double or triple your capacity by simply purchasing extra batteries which can be charged apart from the inverter. Extra chargers are available to charge more than 1 battery concurrently.

The StudioMax III AKC320 constant color monolight offers a 320W/s output variable over 6.0 stops and a 100W modeling lamp. The AKC320 comes with PL7R High-Gain Reflector and is compatible with the full line of Photogenic flash head accessories.

The Eclipse 45" White Flat-Panel Umbrella has a removable black cover and an extra white satin panel added during construction to eliminate reflection of the metal spokes of the umbrella in the eyes of your subject. The black cover can be removed to allow you use it in shoot-through mode. The kit is rounded out by a sturdy 8.0' light stand. The included Multi-Clamp allows you to hang the inverter on it.
