I've been looking for a sturdy heavy duty tripod at a reasonable price and build for a while now. I've found it! This tripod is it! I was really surprised when I received it as it is built like a tank! I can use it for just about all my photo needs. The only issue I've had is with the leg spreader. After about a week it broke. I tightened it too much and the center column ring on the spreader split. Now I take all responsibility for the break, but I think it could have been designed a little better. Tripod still works fine - I now add a clamp below the ring, just in case, to keep it from slipping off. Other than that - I think this is the perfect tripod for anyone. If you're on the fence about purchase - I say buy it! I may buy another one soon.

The perfect tripod for everyone.

I have to say, after spending many weeks researching, purchasing and returning heavy duty tripods, this tripod met ALL of mii needs and expectations! I needed to set up a video village station for mii drone so that mii clients could watch the footage at a safe distance and from a larger monitor. That station needed to be mounted on something durable. Like, extremely durable. And this tripod is just that. I am beyond satisfied with this purchase and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone searching for a tripod that's heavy duty needing to hold up a small workstation. 

Just to give you all an idea of what I have sitting on top of mine, I've got a hard case that's fitted with a sunshade, it holds 18" of monitor space but I've got a 15" monitor in there, a live deck that transmits the signal from mii Autel drone to the monitor and a heavy duty battery source, along with a few other small items needed for commercial drone flight. On average, there's roughly 17lbs sitting comfortably on this tripod. 

Now, I haven't tested this in rough windy conditions but I plan on rigging some additional cables to the sides so they reach downward towards the ground where sandbags can be connected. Plus, you have the spikes at the end of each leg that come in handy for securing its foundation in nearly any environment.

The BEST heavy duty tripod!!!

Very study and well built tripod. The legs are a little stiff and hard to extend but some Wd40 should help that
