Good SoftBox - Hard to Set Up

This a good well made (like all Photogenic Eqpt) softbox which probably would be most suitable if you were going to leave it set up full time. However, if you are going to set up and take down a couple of these regularly, you're going to spend more than just a couple of minutes doing it. For my money, the umbrella style units that open like an umbrella are far easier to work with.. Some are considerably cheaper. Photogenic ought to consider updating.

About Photogenic 911927 Octogon 48in SoftBox with SpeedRing

• Photogenic Soft Boxes are constructed with a durable black / silver laminated material and are complete with a handled travel bag. The spring tension rods easily fit into the soft box and into the mounting plate with speed ring. Each soft box has a heat release flap, a snap-fit internal panel and a front diffusion panel. The front panel is Velcro fitted that will allow you to place the panel at the box edge or into the box 1.5" for improved light direction.

No need to buy a mounting plate or ring, they are included with all photogenic Soft Boxes
