I have to hand it to Photogenic on this one. Not only is this VERY practical addition, they have intergrated the mounting holes into the strobe mount standard. It screws right in to the threads on the unbrella adjustment side and is suspended in place by the adjustable 12 inch long snake. Softboxes always put the command side of the strobe out of view along with the controls and these fix that condition very nicely.

These thing look a little goofy but I am able to see the display from the camera no matter which way the back of the lights are facing. The reception from the remote is excellent. The unit tells you current setting and which unit it is (great when you use 6 - 8 lights per session. No real cons so far.

Use for hair light or suspended light no ladder or light movement needed to adjust light power or to check reading. Displays self configured light number, status and power value. You can set number to control multiple if you like. The remote also has an all control for fast standby and recover. I alos like the computer control software and pair it with nikon camera remote control software for easy studio control.
