Works great with Nikon cameras.

I loved using this trigger for my Photogenic monolight because it controls the firing better when used in the studio. The color is more consistent from shot to shot. I did not know however that it does not work with Canon DSLR's, so when I bought a 2nd camera I could not switch back and forth in the studio from camera to camera. This is because Canon has infrared technology, and the trigger does not. Which is not anything wrong with the product-- I just thought other people might find that information useful when looking to buy it.

The RTT hot shoe mounted transmitter will trigger AKC "R" and "BR" StudioMax III lights from a distance of 80 feet. It's also for use with the 4-channel RTR receiver. Includes the battery and a cord for cameras with PC connection but no hot-shoe connection.
