If you have a B1, stock up they don't hold a lot of juice and the you can't plug the unit in so... I wish they had more power but if you can dial the flash back from full power they are too bad.

Of course we'd all love less expensive accessories, but these are great batteries. They charge quick and power is great for it's size.

I'm always surprised at the amount of flashes I can get with one of these

I've owned mine for about a year now, it performs ok but seems to self discharge more than i'd expect. It does not hold it's charge well, hoping that Profoto will provide a solution. If you operate b1's, be sure you have at least a few of these for every b1 you operate so you'll not run out of juice. The model lamp uses the batter up fast. Pros: Good power to weight ratio, small size, easy to operate. Cons: Price, Poor battery life, self discharges?

The Profoto Lithium-ion Battery for B1 500 AirTTL Off-Camera Flash will give you up to 220 full power flashes and thousands of minimum power flashes on a 2 hour charge from the 2.8A multi-voltage charger. The 4.5A quick charger shortens that time to 1 hour. Fuel gauge-type LEDs on the battery and both the optional chargers allow you to monitor charge progress.
