This is a beautifully constructed soft box with one issue. The pockets which hold the ends of the rods are quite small, therefore the rods easily pop out of the pockets when you go to fold the box up for travel. This requires loosening the front screen so that you can dig in there and reseat the rod. If you keep this soft box in a studio and don?t do location work like I do this is a fine choice. I returned mine however and exchanged it for a (admittedly more expensive) Chimera one which has much longer sleeves leading up to said pockets, keeping the rods in place. There you have it. Very nice, but didn?t work for me. Read on...

It's Profoto, so it's expensive. It's definitely a high quality softbox though. All seams and materials are sturdy and the rods are nice also. I used it all last week on a boomed D1 as a rim light and it worked perfectly. I purchased the baffle as well and it's a great fit for when focused light is needed.

Expensive but high quality

Both build and light quality are as expected. Produces beautiful light quality.  I use it for rim lighting in my portraits.

Highly recommended

Someone will never go wrong with a Profoto equipment!
It's not cheap! But any real pro would use it - it is made for professional use and it lasts for long.
