Shopper : Hi does this kit have the transmitter built in?ANDREW R : Unfortunately no, as shipped this unit is equipped with a sync cable. A wireless trigger system is not included.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?CRAIG S : The pack is light, portable and powerful. It's perfect for a small studio, or taking the kit on the road. I also took advantage of the 1 free Acute 2/D4 head with the two head kit purchase, for a total of 3 heads.

Great Product

I had tried to save money by getting an Alien Bees powerpack and ringflash, but after 2 days I decided to sell it and get the Profoto. The Profoto Powerpack is very well built, compact and works great.

Worth the money

I had originally prchased the alien bees zeus ring flash, but it was plastic, flimsey, so I sold it after 2 days and bought the profoto ringlight. This one is very nice, all metal, made very well and looks professional.

Fantastic light, cumbersome to use

The quality of the light is truly superb, but you have to put up with a device that is fragile to transport, and which is a bit complex and informally designed in the way that it attaches to your camera. I think that you can fit it to almost anything - that's true - but it always a little "hokey". And be aware that there are limits to how fast you shoot with it, especially at high power settings. To get a better feel for this product, download a copy of the user's manual from the non-US Profoto website.
