Four instead of five stars given the price, but if the act of taking the image is as important to you as the image itself, I can vouch for the pleasure these things bring to my photography. I shoot Canon, and I can't think of a time in the last ten years I've had issues with my Speedlites. I've long wished Canon would get into producing moonlights with more power, but alas...So I've tried a number of popularly-named battery moonlights to this point, and I just couldn't get consistent behavior out of them. I recently moved from the EOS R to R6 Mark ii, and the units I was mostly enjoying stopped functioning! I got them working with my old Canon transmitter, but that was the last straw. I picked up these B10X units, took them on the first shoot, and everything worked, even TTL! I've shot on units claiming to work with Canon TTL, but even working with customer support I had to crank compensation up full to get close. I shoot almost entirely in manual, but now and again a quick shot using TTL would be nice. I really like how these units so easily take a TTL and keep that value when switching to manual in a single button push. Brilliant! Luckily my modifiers can switch easily to accepting Profoto units by just swapping in a new insert, so I won't have to spend goofy money on soft boxes as well. So far so good.

Though very pricey, it stands alone for one of the best professional lighting system around. A very good friend recommended Profoto and I finally gave in and I'm glad I did. I used his Profoto lighting system for a family portrait and a fashion spread...WOW!! I would truly recommend if you have the dollars to invest.

Easy to use right out of the box. Used it the first time during a recruitment event and did multiple headshots. They were great!

I can't with an honest hand type and say these any better than my godox strobes. They fire inconsistent light (not even on full pwr) , the remotes for these don't show what exposure you're at, remote battery dies within a week of using. And forget about keeping the modeling light on long. Will kill your batteries within the hour. I'm just not impressed. I say save the money and go elsewhere. The cute display and hype is not enough for the money it costs.

I have waited and used lesser quality products for my business. These lights are game-changers. The fact that they are lightweight, fit into a small backpack, and can be used on the battery is amazing and so helpful to my business. The light quality is unequaled to anything I have used in the past. It was a huge financial purchase for me and my business but I know they will pay for themselves quickly.

I?ve been a godox user for years and have been fed up with the difficulty to update firmware, misfires, and low quality modifiers. I finally made the leap to Profoto and these lights have been great so far. While Godox ARE much cheaper, you truly get what you pay for. If you?re a professional making a living off photography, you won?t regret the jump. Pros: they just work. No misfires. Great build. Cons: no way to replace flash bulb on my own. Longer battery life would be nice.
