Have a flexible and simplified shooting experience with the Profoto Connect. This wireless transmitter is available for Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, and Sony cameras. It has an operating range of a 1000' when using a normal sync flash and remote control and a 330' range when using Auto TTL and HSS. It has a robust build quality and a built-in lithium-ion polymer battery that can last for as long as 30 hours and be recharged using an included USB cable. The Profoto Connect simplifies your shooting experience by only having two basic settings: Auto (AirTTL) and Manual or Off. The Button Free Trigger
We know that created light can be complicated for many natural-light photographers, and heard stories about triggers with so many buttons that you simply don’t know where to start - so you don’t do it. You put the flash away. But we have also heard that if these photographers were to use flash, they would do it off camera, since it’s easier to replicate a natural-looking light if it’s not coming directly from the camera. And based on those insights, an idea was born. That’s when we created the Profoto Connect, the button-free trigger.
3 Settings for Creating Natural-Looking Light
With only three settings; auto, manual and off, you are now free to create natural-looking light anytime, anywhere. Just turn it to auto, and you’re ready to point and shoot for a great exposure in every shot - no buttons, no complexity, just a lot of freedom to focus on the image. Because when you remove all the technicalities, you can put the energy on getting the shot that you want.
And if you want to expand your creative possibilities even more, slide it to manual and fine-tune the light settings either directly on the light or in the Profoto app.

Smart remote control with Profoto App
The Profoto app gives you an ingenious remote control that lets you view and control the Profoto Connect from your smartphone screen. Touch, swipe and tweak until you get the light just right. This way you can adjust the light brightness, so it blends perfectly with the ambient light.
When Profoto Connect is set to Auto, simply swipe to add an offset to the default flash power to make all images a little brighter or a little darker. When Profoto Connect is set to Manual, swipe to adjust the flash power.
*Photographers not using the app can still fire their Profoto flashes remotely and make manual adjustments on the flash itself. TTL opperation does not require the Profoto app.
